Really disappointing for vegans - Edit
Unfortunately, despite the staff trying to be helpful, it was really difficult ordering a vegan lunch here. I’m also gluten free which does complicate things sometimes!
Read moreThe single option they had was vegan cheese and no stand alone gluten free bread. It was only available as a pre packaged sandwich containing non vegan ingredients.
Despite a lengthy ordering process, both my husbands vegan toastie and my vegan cheese salad came with non vegan coleslaw and potato salad on the plate.
One to avoid I’m afraid.
Pros: Dog friendly
Cons: Terrible understanding of a vegan diet, Poor options

Requires improvement - Edit
The venue is a dog friendly cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable and unrushed.
Read moreService was pretty speedy and my food was that piping hot that I was burning my mouth.
They said that they did do vegan desserts but at the time had none in so that wasn't great. I did have one or two options, which was the vegetable soup or a vegan cheese toastie with tomatoes and onion, so I decided to select the toastie. When it was served I noticed that it looked a bit sad and was significantly lacking in fillings. The vegan cheese tasted horrendously bad, normally I don't mind vegan cheese. The salad was a bit depressing as well, I felt like it could have been improved with some more exciting veg than what they chose.
On a positive note their coffee options are amazing, they do oat/almond/soya to name a few, plus it tastes pretty good.
For the almond cappuchino and the toastie it came to £6.90 which isn't the worst.
Pros: Good selection of dairy-free milks, Comfortable atmosphere, Reasonable price
Cons: Lack of filling in the toastie, Taste of their cheese

My drinks are always amazing, and they have a wide selection of alternative milks! #Veganuary
