Delicious food and fantastic hosts - Edit
My wife and I were staying in Palermo and managed to book a meal at In Cottura - Home Vegan restaurant. We were served with vegan versions of many local specialty items. Everything was delicious! Absolute must if you're visiting Palermo. Amazing hosts too - they couldn't have been more accommodating - even with a slight language barrier :).

Read moreLa prima volta abbiamo partecipato alla cena marocchina e la seconda ci siamo gustati un tagliere di street food siciliano seguito da un cannolo strepitoso.
Katty e Maria Grazia sono due padrone di casa perfette e gli ospiti vengono 'coccolati' dall'inizio alla fine. Anche noi ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa e abbiamo potuto assaggiare delle autentiche prelibatezze rivisitate in chiave 100% vegetale.

A unique and wonderful experience - Edit
We stumbled upon this gem on an Italian vegan Facebook group and I decided to book for a dinner. I’m vegan but my wife is not. And she ended up more impressed than me!
Read moreThe menu is agreed before hand with the hosts and I definitely suggest to go for traditional Sicilian dishes.
I’m originally from Palermo and was able to taste these dishes that I thought I will never try again. Everything was incredible. The flavors and texture were incredibly on point and actually my wife told she preferred the vegan cannolo to the original one because it was lighter.
Everything is organic and took the team years to find the suppliers for everything. The food is a 11/10!
And on top of that we had a great time chatting with our hosts and admiring their lovely furry son, Miró. Don’t worry if you are afraid of dogs, he was in a separate room with the door closed (until we asked to see him 😁).
Overall, a unique and wonderful experience which we hope to repeat next time we will be back in Palermo. I do suggest everyone to give it a shot for a wonderful and memorable time.

Such innovative vegan food - Edit
We were staying near Palermo and found this gem of a place. They do takeaway only but every few days they also do dine in with others on a fixed menu. The food is absolutely 5-star. They make everything fresh and make many sicilian dishes using fake meats too. We thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway & dine in experience with other like minded locals. I will definitely come back to Palermo if only for this! You will need to book done in, in advance but you will not regret.
