Best Vegan Chinese

Stumbled onto this place after reservations for another fell through, couldn’t have been more happily surprised at the huge amount of options all of which were extremely enjoyable!
Note that they are a cash only business, but there are a couple of ATMs near by.

Pros: Vast vegan menu, Extremely good food

Cons: Cash only

Imperial Cruising

You’ll find a staggering clearly labelled vegan menu with dozens of dishes here. I’d call it an abundance. The kitchen looks very clean and the interior is immaculate. As we’d already eaten a short while previously it was just a short and quick take away visit of VG chicken and mushrooms in curry sauce and rice. I tend to rate a Chinese by its curry sauce which was outstanding with a welcoming spicy punch. The chicken pieces were succulent but firm and drenched with flavour.

Delicious vegan Chinese

They have a separate vegan menu with a whole bunch of options, including specials and classics that you may not be able to find as vegan anywhere else!
I had the spicy honey chicken and classic chow mein. Both were really tasty.
Be aware that this place is cash only!

Best vegan Chinese

I’ve been here multiple times now and and always impressed with the vegan menu. This time I had spicy vegan squid (which actually wasn’t as spicy as previously), seasonal vegetables with vegan duck which wasn’t as good as I’d hoped - I think I’ll stick to garlic broccoli in future - and vegan chow mein which never disappoints. Staff friendly and accommodating to vegan diets. Very good as a takeaway or eat in. Will miss it when I leave Plymouth.

SO good

Possibly my favourite takeaway in Plymouth. So many vegan options and the food has always been excellent. Their vegan chow meins are my go-to and always so good!

The vegan menu has so many options it's double sided. We had starters and mains and loved them both.

Fantastic

Fantastic to have a local Chinese place with an extensive vegan menu. Ordered takeaway from them many times and it's always been delicious.
It's cash only with takeaway orders.

Lots of vegan options

It’s nice to have a Chinese restaurant that offers vegan options which doesn’t just consists of a vegetable dish or tofu. All of the food we have tried has beeb delicious. However, we ordered the vegan chicken chowmein and we are sure the noodles were egg noodles!

so many vegan options, not just limited to veg and tofu like most other chinese takeaways i’ve seen - as well as this they also have a veggie section. the food is genuinely good and the staff are very nice. my go to takeaway!

So much choice!

I'm really not use to have that many vegan choices on a menu! Went here with work colleagues and they really enjoyed it too. Very yummy! All the usual meat options on a menu had a vegan option. Lots of meat substitutes for the transitioning vegans.

Amazing vegan Chinese

I get takeaway from here often and it's so good. salt and spicy squid is to die for. Great option if you want to get Chinese with a group including non vegans. Hoping they bring out crackers one day

Amazing vegan options

Was very sceptical when I saw the huge vegan menu, but it was amazing!!! Had 30 vegan options so was so hard to choose from! I had the vegan beef in black bean sauce and it was amazing! Would 100% recommend

Fantastic vegan options

Looking for a Chinese with vegan options while in Plymouth and this place came up. So many options to choose from and the food was delicious. Had to wait a while for delivery but it was worth the wait 😀

Worth the trip from Exeter

Visited Imperial Garden with my partner to dine in, and was really impressed by the quality of the restaurant, vegan food, and service. Really lovely, one of my favourite restaurants in Plymouth. Beautiful decor too!

Amazing Vegan Options!

Have used this Chinese restaurant for a while now, and have never been disappointed. They have a whole menu dedicated to vegan dishes, which is rare to find. Food always arrives hot and tasty. Sometimes there is a wait for deliveries on weekends, but other than that it is quick. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

My go-to takeout

My absolute go-to vegan takeout, always so polite and accommodating on the phone, and a large variety of vegan dishes. The food is always hot on arrival and expertly packed, they usually include free prawn crackers which my (non vegan) partner loves, would be lovely to maybe have something vegan included like this? Delicious flavours and lots of variety in their dishes. They deliver too which is fab!

Cons: Delivery sometimes takes a long time
