Hidden gem - Edit
Beautiful setting, amazing staff and good choices for vegans. The staff clearly understood when we said we were vegan and advised which dishes they could tweak for us. We ordered from the starters and had one of each available!!. We had potatoes, greek salad (minus the feta), gigantes (beans in a tomato sauce) fried courgette, briam (aubergine and other veggies in a rich tomato sauce) and bread and oil. It was all outstanding and some of the freshest dishes we had the whole trip. We even tried to go back on our last day but they were fully booked!!

Surprisingly good place for veggies and vegans - Edit
Though principally a fish and seafood restaurant, Imerolia taverna also has a good selection of veggie and vegan appetizers which can be combined, tapas-style, to make an excellent meal.
Read moreI had briam (baked stew of eggplant, zucchini, tomato and potato) and skordalia (garlic and potato dip). Both were excellent and, with the Greek bread provided, made a filling dinner.
In addition to the ubiquitous Greek salad, other veggie/vegan options not already mentioned here include giant butter beans in tomato sauce.
Situated right on the coast overlooking the water, the taverna's outdoor dining area is caressed by gentle and refreshing sea breezes. The great location, excellent food and friendly service make the short walk from Kassiopi worthwhile.
Pros: Wide selection of veggie options, some v, Lovely location on the sea, Friendly and efficient service
