Family-owned cafe on the 9th floor of an apartment building in Takahara. Made its menu fully vegan and gluten-free in 2016. Includes a daily lunch plate set plus taco rice, curry, sweets, and drinks. There is a play area for kids, and the space has a view over the city and ocean. Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-5:00pm. Open days vary must call ahead before you go.

WONDERFUL - Edit
This was one of the best cafe experiences I've had in Japan! I had the lunch plate, sweet potato / soy whipped cream and pear cake, and a matcha latte. There is a spectacular view across the bay area below, and the atmosphere and staff are just lovely. Such a unique, special place.
