Would rate it 5 if I could

It’s very small, but we got a seat on a Sunday evening. I had the Vegetarian Todu Pad Kee Mao, and it was so good.

You write down what you want on a paper, and they understood what vegan was when I asked for it to be vegan. I’m allergic to dairy and didn’t have a reaction, and I got to eat delicious food!

My partner and I agreed it was some of the best Thai food we’ve had

Pros: Food made fresh, Delicious , Good portion- not too much but not too little

Delicious Thai Food

It was raining cats and dogs outside, thus the consumption of these warm flavoursome meals was a pleasant surprise to our cold and empty stomachs.

The venue is remarkably small, hence I would recommend making a reservation when you would like to eat here, or you could simply order take-out. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for ours (when it was relatively busy). The menu indicates which ingredients the dish contains, and they make sure to clean the wok (and utensils) between each dish. Additionally, the staff was very kind and they were more than happy to help you with any questions and/or requests.

Nice!

I had a nice warm coconutty soup on a cold rainy day and it was just what I needed! Not expensive and tasty. I only got that one thing but everything else I saw getting served to other customers also looked great haha

Yummy and quick

The panang curry was delicious and also ordered pad krapow without oyster sauce. Was very fresh and pretty good value for money, the only improvement would be if they had tofu rather than just ‘vegetable’ options. Was about £7 per dish which is pretty good value for money but you can get cheaper in Budapest

Pros: Delicious flavours, Quick, Lots of options

Cons: No tofu dishes , Could be cheaper

Menu clearly says the ingredients, so you can ask to not include oyster sauce as I did.

Don’t be fooled by appearances - an absolute gem

It doesn’t look like much from outside and the menu looked a bit underwhelming for both myself and an omni partner but both of us were blown away by the food when it came.

This little spot is no frills but the food is where it shines, a great little hideout in the Jewish Quarter and absolutely worth a visit for vegans and non vegans alike.

Pros: Delicious, Portion size, Presentation

Cons: Very warm inside, No music but friendly service and a gentle buzz

5 stars

This was literally the best Thai food I had outside of Thailand. It’s worth it. It seems like nothing special from the outside but it’s a hidden gem. During our three nights we ended up eating here twice. Delicious curry and pad see ew. Will always go back when in Budapest.

Pros: Vegan options, Authentic, Cheap

Cons: Small space
