We had porcini risotto, mixed salad, lasagna, tiramisu, and chocolate pear torte. Everything was quite tasty and the room was comfortable. There were many things on the menu I would have liked to try, so a second visit may be in order soon.

The lasagna was reallyy good. And we couldn't tell that the tiramisu was vegan. The staff was nice. We got our dinner within 15 minutes and the prices are also perfectly reasonable.

Il vegano bistrot was a real treat to visit. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is nice and the food is delicious. I had the lasagna with seitan ragù with was amazing and tasted exactly how I remember the original one tasting. I also had a frutti di bosco cheesecake which was good but could have used a bit more sweetness. I highly recommend this place both for vegans and non vegans.

I just went there an hour ago it was amazing, I got risotto funghi porcini, seitan lasagna, and some wine. It was all great and I took a tiramisu home which I have yet to try. I am allergic to many nuts so I am so happy to have so many options because none of their vegan cheese or milk is made with nuts so I feel very safe!! Love this place will be returning very soon!

Siamo andati io il mio fidanzato e mia suocera, venerdi sera, il personale gentilissimo, al telefono ci ha fornito anche un aiuto per dove parcheggiare vicino al ristorante. Abbiamo mangiato gli straccetti al kamut e il gulash. Purtroppo dovevamo andare sennò ci saremmo fermati anche per il dolce!

A small restaurant offering an entirely vegan menu. We had the mixed salad (a very large portion and very tasty) and the lasagna (one of the best ones I’ve had so far). Very friendly service.

Florence is not known for vegan restaurants, however this established restaurant operating for 15 years plus (I believe) is a gem. The seitan lasagna was fantastic and the goulash, with tender seitan, was the comfort food we needed. Oh, and the tiramisu was OMG delish. If you’re in Florence, this is a must!!

Read moreNevertheless, the food was - for vegan Italian standards - quite underwhelming. We've tried the lasagna and the tiramisu. Both were decent vegan dishes but definitely not breathtaking. In my opinion, every dish seemed a bit uninspired. For sure, it's still a good option for vegans, but it's really not fancy. Considering this, the prices are rather high.
Moreover, the cappuccino with oatmilk I had was really bad.

My dear, I don't know how much expertise you have to judge the "standards of Italian vegan dishes," but it's just a matter of personal taste! Our lasagna and tiramisu are highly renowned and generally well-received by all my customers. If you were looking for something "breathtaking" and "super refined," you've come to the wrong place. We are TRUE vegans and honestly promote veganism by offering good, wholesome food cooked with love, without too many unnecessary and trendy frills. So, sorry if we're not "sophisticated" enough for you, but that's fine with us! The cappuccino was a regular cappuccino with coffee and oat milk. It's not possible to do it any other way. We don't make the coffee or plant-based milk ourselves; we simply blend it with the coffee machine, like in every café around the world. Finally, regarding prices, I remind you that you ate for less than 15 euros. If you wanted it for less I should have given it to you as a gift!..... P.S. The background music was NOT loud.

The restaurant looks rather simple, but they offer very tasty, homemade italian dishes. We tried the lasagna (10/10), the linguine with seitan ragou (7/10), and shared the Tiramisu for desert. It was soo good, I wished, we would have gotten one each 😄🤤 It was so good we decided to get some more lasagna and parmigiana to takeaway for the next day. The service was very good as well.

Read moreI should've ordered something else because the salad was underwhelming with the dressing option being only an apple vinaigrette. The croquettes were slightly bland but healthy which I appreciated. However, my husbands pasta was lovely!
The service was friendly and the music was awesome - I love the 80's.

OK, the parmigiana is "salty" FOR YOU and for a VERY FEW others who evidently have a very particular perception of "salty"! We've been making this dish exactly the same for over 10 years, exactly as it should be made, neither salty nor bland, and ALL OUR OTHER customers (hundreds) love it...!

I have tried the trofie pesto and lasagna, both incredible. I went back to get more of the pesto pasta, some of the best I have ever had. Friendly owner and very delicious food. 100% vegan menu, highly recommended.

I was very keen on this one as we love to support fully vegan restaurants but this was a bit of a let down. We had the tagliatelle with ragu and some croquettes with caponata sauce. Food was salty and pure stodge. Service was a bit chaotic. For a place that specialises in vegan food they could do miles better.
