Habe Pommes und Burger gegessen. Die Pommes wurden in alten Fett frittiert, der Burger war spärlich belegt, der Kellner hatte fettige Haare und saß mit seiner dreckigen Hose bei der Bestellung auf dem Nebentisch. Die Toilette ist bereits bei Öffnung stinkend, die Musik ist zu laut.

Read moreLa música y el ambiente es muy bueno. El coperto cuesta 1,50 € por persona, con lo cual no es excesivamente caro.
La comida está muy rica, aunque te recomiendo que no vayas a probar (ya que lo visitas)un mix de ensalada o una hamburguesa pudiendo probar su arroz venus negro o su risotto casero.
Las porciones son generosas y si vais dos personas recomiendo un primer plato para cada una y un segundo para compartir.

I had amazing meals here! The food was delicious across the board, the lasagna was fantastic and I honestly had the best tiramisu here.

In my experience, if you treat people with basic kindness and respect, you get the same in return, maybe those reviewer issues were on them. Don't let those comments put you of, the food is way too good to miss!

The restaurant is close to St Mark's square and the tram terminus for T2. It is fairly small and offers vegan versions of Italian classic dishes. It is listed here as fast food but I would say it is a little more than that although not fine dining either. I had the simple burger which was OK but unspectacular and my wife had aubergine, which was similar. The desserts were very good.
Read moreI ordered a glass of red wine which, in my opinion, was oxidised, as it had that familiar grassy taste. The waiter, however, said it was not and was quite rude about it. I did get a replacement but the incident left a bad feeling. We were also upset later after we learned that my wife's phone had been stolen, possibly even while we were in the restaurant. The people were unsympathetic; OK, there was not much they could do but we were distressed. Maybe my review is coloured by that experience.

Really, really wanted to love this place. It’s not easy to find a fully vegan, traditional Italian place in Italy. But each dish I tried (Seitan Ragú, Seitan Lasagne and Carbonara) disappointed me in different ways.

Service was meh, prices were good, but the whole star of the show was the Tiramisu. GET THE TIRAMISU I would have gladly eaten three servings of it alone.

Il vegano bistrot was a real treat to visit. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is nice and the food is delicious. I had the lasagna with seitan ragù with was amazing and tasted exactly how I remember the original one tasting. I also had a frutti di bosco cheesecake which was good but could have used a bit more sweetness. I highly recommend this place both for vegans and non vegans.

Easy dining with simple tasty homemade style Italian food. As some have stated 80's music which is fine as I'm an 80s child. Quick service and very reasonable prices. We ate there the 3 days we stayed in Florence.

Daarnaast stond de muziek vrij luid en paste de playlist niet helemaal bij de sfeer van de zaak. Ook vond ik het jammer dat het water in plastic flessen wordt geserveerd en dat er zoveel plastic planten in het interieur staan. Dat voelt niet helemaal in lijn met het veganistische verhaal dat de zaak wil uitstralen.
De prijzen zijn daarentegen heel betaalbaar en mooie porties.

Let's clarify things better: Ragù is the seasoning sauce. A sauce is never "al dente." It MUST be very well cooked, otherwise it wouldn't be a sauce! So I don't understand your disappointment. I'm not even aware of the "damp smell," but since it's a very hot season, the air is humid. It's certainly not our fault! Also, the playlist was a quiet compilation of 80s hits, which perfectly suits the informal atmosphere of our restaurant and generally everyone likes it precisely because it's very "quiet" and in the background. I conclude that we have water in both glass and recyclable plastic. The latter is the one generally chosen by people who then take the bottle home with them. Just pay attention to the menu and you would have seen it. Ultimately, I think you really tried everything to be able to write a negative review, grasping at straws because you didn't know what to say just to be able to criticize us. Who knows why...

This bistro has an old school vibe as previous reviews said. Menu and the overall rules (you have to order for all guests at the table which means no sharing and asking for a key if you want to go to the toilet) are old style, but the most important thing, food is tasty. I ordered lasagne and my husband ate tagliatelle. We also ordered tiramisu for dessert. Lasagne was very good, tagliatelle could be better, but the tiramisu was outstanding! I really liked it and for the price of the 5 euro portion is quite big. I recommend this dessert!

I do, however, have to clarify a few things regarding the "old-world atmosphere" you mention so much. We posted specific signs because there are some rude people who come into the restaurant just to use the bathroom, leaving it dirty and without even saying hello. Restrooms are reserved for our customers, not for anyone passing by. As for consumption, it's OBVIOUS that if a group of people enter a restaurant and occupy a table, they must consume something. This doesn't mean sharing isn't possible, but it's still fundamental courtesy to at least have something to drink and not occupy our few tables without consuming anything. It's a question of intelligence, good manners, and respect for the staff. I'm sorry you see this simple point in a negative light.

Read moreFirst time we ordered the seitan ragu pasta and the tempeh dish with a tiramisu and chocolate and pear tarte for dessert. The pasta was good, tempeh delicious (huge portion), desserts great.
2nd time we ordered lasagna, pesto pasta made gf, and 2x tiramisu. The pasta dishes were great. Wish I could have the pesto again!

We had a delicious lasagna, eggplant parmigiana and risotto. The fungi risotto was so good that my (nonvegan) friend literally dreamt about it the night after. Also great tiramisu.

The decor / atmosphere is a tiny bit old school but truly some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten. We got lasagne, aubergine parm, tempeh “crumble” and a tiramisu. The tempeh dish was pretty horrible (but very good for functional protein!) but the lasagne, aubergine and especially tiramisu were absolutely delicious. 5* for those dishes but 4* overall just due to service quality and atmosphere, but a real must visit for travelling vegans!

INFATTI NON c'era posto! I tre tavoli (da due persone) liberi quando siete arrivati, erano stati PRENOTATI! Non è che ci divertiamo a mandare via i clienti. Se non c'è posto e non avete una prenotazione, non sò cosa ci possiamo fare! E comunque NON vi abbiamo assolutamente "cacciato in malo modo"... Questa è decisamente una menzogna!
