Definitely not fast food - Edit
Good choice of dishes, but we waited ages in an almost empty freezing cold restaurant for over cooked soggy pasta and generally bland food. The constantly sloping floor makes dining uncomfortable as I was leaning uphill in my chair.

I went here for lunch. Service was very friendly and I like the atmosphere of the place. They have a seperate English menue and they spoke very well English and explained everything. I had a white lasagna for 8€ that was quite good and a gulasch for I think 7€ that was excellent. I would give it five stars right away if my plate would have been a little fuller. Normally I don't order two main dishes to get full (but i was very very full after the second one...).

The anti pasta was great with a selection of vegan cheeses, vegan ham and vegan tuna. My main was unfortunately quite dry. I feel that a menu with so many options doesn’t always work, because there is not a lot of focus on particular dishes.

definitely the bet vegan place in florence! the prices are good and the food is delicious. I had a seitan and funghi. goulash with potatoes for €7,50. also tried their chocolate croissant and the cappuccino, which were also marvelous.

We came here for our last night in Florence for dinner. We ordered a main each and shared a slice of cheesecake. I would say the main meals were a bit bland. On the other hand the cheesecake was incredible. Lovely service. I would have liked to have tried the burger.

Excellent and varied menu. Food tasty. Big salad was very good. Had a couple of issues when there which staff didn’t seem to be very bothered about (dirty/not enough cutlery, paper stuck to the bottom of my lasagne).

The risotto with mushroom was probably the best risotto I’ve ever had. The vegetable and fruit juice was also pretty nice. It’s amazing to see a vegan and organic fast food place, and I’ll for sure come back to try more dishes!

100% vegan. Fast food & traditional dishes on offer. I opted for a hot dog and spinach and cheese croquettes. Sweet pastries and 'cheese cake' style desserts were also available. I took some pastries away for later. I was disappointed at the amount of paper napkins used in serving my meal and in providing my take-away (even though I tried to refuse them!). I would much prefer if napkins were available as an option, if required. Despite that small hiccup, the staff were helpful and kind. Lovely modern venue. And the food was very tasty!

Amazing flavour, quality and value. Informal order at the counter, chalkboard menu in English and Italian. Phenomenal vegan cheese cake. Lots of choices for people like me with multiple food allergies (beans and soy!)

Close to our Airbnb we found this little gem by accident, lovely friendly staff (very nice Prosecco...when in Italy!) we only wanted something light but the menu had plenty of lovely options which many other diners were clearly enjoying. Great value too which is always a bonus in any city.

We came for an early lunch and were alone in the restaurant for ten minutes before a bunch of hungry people suddenly joined from the rainy streets of Florence! The atmosphere was casual and friendly, and the food was good. I had a cavolo nero/faggioli soup and my partner had the goulash, and for dessert we had a slice of cake each. The cheese cake slice was huge! We could barely finish the cakes, and were glad we didn't have a second main as planned at first (the portions felt small at first, but we were full for hours after our meals). The drinks we had were a nice addition to the meal, chinotto and cedrata. Will return!

We spent three nights in Florence and we, my wife and I, had dinner at Il Vegano, three nights in a row. This fact alone should testify how much we liked it. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cruelty free meal with the luxury of Italian cuisine ;))
