Opened December 2014 by the owners of La Lanterna in the city centre of Verona; located 14km south. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes prepared with seasonal organic produce along with seitan, tofu and vegan cheeses. Many dishes, especially the pasta dishes, are inspired by the traditional Italian cuisine. MAY 2016 REPORTED SHUT.

Vegan Haute Cuise close to Verona - Edit
I was very hungry visiting in the evening with my vegan girlfriend Il Sambuco outside of Verona. We thought first it will be a more basic styled countryside vegan restaurant. But we were totally surprised the ambience and the food was not just great arranged but also very tasty. Therefore we tried 3 different starter and 3 main dishes and 2 desserts and all was great and we enjoyed it a lot. Hope they will continue their great standard.
Pros: all Vegan, very tasty, good value
Cons: not so easy to reach
