Il Lughino

Lughino quickly became one of my favorite restaurants.
Food is lovely, especially lasagna of course, staff is kind and the place is cozy and elegant without being posh.
My favorite for a dinner with my girlfriend but also for a lunch with friends.

Not the usual simple fast food joint, a typical nice well kept Italian restaurant with good service, slow fresh food and several courses. Everything is fresh and homemade, good choice of gnocchi and lasagne which are delicious, plus other dishes as well.
They also pay attention in researching and being ethical with all their drinks, coffee and wines offered. You can really appreciate the restaurant is not simply vegan as a business trend but because they truly believe in it!

Il nostro ristorante preferito, tutto è preparato al momento e fatto in casa, credo sia questo il motivo di una scleta limitata. Buona scelta di vini, ovviamente vegan. È un vero ristorante e non la solita rosticceria o fast food. Personale sempre gentile, forse un po troppo seri...
I primi sono la specialità della casa.

Piccolo e grazioso locale ancora in fase di assestamento, in cui tutto il menù è vegano.
L'ambiente rimane però anonimo e il menù ha poca scelta (il che non vuol dire che sia negativo) ma dei prezzo un po' alti.
Io personalmente ho ordinato gli gnocchi alla romana, e la portata ne comprendeva 4, mi è sembrato davvero molto poco per il prezzo pagato (ok la nouvelle cousine ma sembrava un antipasto)
Altri due amici hanno ordinato del seitan con patate, e il piatto comprendeva tre fettine piccole e sottili e pochissime patate (almeno con le patate avrebbero potuto abbondare).
Il tutto era buono ma non da giustificare il rapporto quantità/prezzo.
Purtroppo sono rimasta delusa anche sul fronte dolci, uno era ancora in forno e l'altro (una crostata) non era niente di particolare e gustoso.
Il personale è gentile e disponibile ma non abbastanza disinvolto da metterti a proprio agio.
Invece una cosa che mi ha molto colpito e piaciuta era il pane appena sfornato che ti affettavano al tavolo! Davvero buono!

In this little nice town called Seregno, not so far from Milan, a young couples of amazing chefs realized the dream of the greedy Italian vegans: they opened the lasagna paradise!
Which one could I suggest to try first? All!!
And then, if you need to digest your avalanche of excellent food, there is a huge carnet of organic liquors. I tried the one with roses, delicate, sublime. The chamomile liquor too, it deserves to be tried. What are you doing still at home?!! Hurry over, before it is too late! I have just ordered my second dish of lasagna!

The place is very nice and neat, in the center of the town. Both owners are very funny and willing to ask any question you have.

The menu might change daily and has some usual vegan dishes. But the showpiece of the restaurant is lasagna and the night I went they had 3 different types available. I took the leek and cauliflower one and it was delicious! Definitely a place to go again!

For those who drink, there's a nice selection of vegan wines and spirits personally selected by owners and made in Italy.
