Det är inte ofta jag skickar ut mat tillbaka till köket, men här hände det. Allt var smaklöst och inte värt pengarna. Servitriserna gjorde vad de kunde, men det hjälper tyvärr inte när de i köket inte kan laga mat.

Lovely food, highly recommended - Edit
I came across this restaurant mostly by chance - it showed up on 'near me' on Happy Cow - and I was very happy that I did. The staff here were very friendly and the food was excellent. Overall, the restaurant has the atmosphere of a traditional Italian trattoria and the food also reflects this - most of their dishes are variations of traditional Italian favourites. They had bruschetta, lasagne (otherwise it would not be a lasagneria), gnocchi, risotto, tiramisù, etc. The only difference is that everything is vegan, organic, seasonal and local, which I was super happy about. Their menu changes daily.
Read moreI took an eggplant lasagna and a cherry and pistachio tart. Both were excellent. The size of the lasagna was slightly larger than I anticipated - when I ordered they had given me an electronic menu where I could see photos of the dishes and I got the impression it was going to be slightly smaller than the size that it was. As a result, even though the portion was not particularly big, it was still quite filling (and I worried that I would be too full to try one of their deserts!). The pistacchio and cherry tart was also amazing and not too sweet, which I appreciated since I dislike very sugary deserts and also because it allows the taste of the other ingredients to shine through.
Some reviewers here have noted that the bread they serve can be a bit dry – while this was also the case when I went, I do not think that it affects the overall experience, particularly when the amount of thought and effort they have put into everything is clear throughout, and also because the bread was home-made. As another reviewer noted too, the restaurant does not seem to very obviously market itself as a vegan restaurant. This is probably a good thing as it is more likely to draw people who are not necessarily vegan.
I went without a booking and had no issues (I went during a quieter time of the day though) but you may want to book if you come during a busier period. For the quality of the food and service, I thought it was a good price.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to any vegans, vegetarians or flexitarians in Milano.

Wow, the chef was incredible, my partner has a nut allergy and the chef/staff could not have been more accommodating, totally understood and really took the time to speak with my boyfriend and make sure he was comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the summer salad and the bruschetta to start both were really tasty, then I had the aubergine lasagne and my partner had the curry nuggets and roast potatoes (the chef said the menu does change seasonally), but we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are very impressed and grateful to the staff/chef, it’s clear they care deeply about their restaurant and the food speaks for itself.

Il Lughino - Edit
Il Lughino has a traditional feel, with an all vegan menu including some classic Italian favourites. I visited at lunchtime and found the atmosphere a little flat, although I suspect it may be more lively in the evening.

Yes, it was that good! I had the bolognese lasagna and it was absolutely perfect. The dough, the sauce, the filling... Delicious! It was a decent portion for the price. Not huge, so I still had space for dessert. Glad I did because the tiramisu was very tasty! The bread that came with the coperto was the only thing I didn't love – it was rather dry. I tried a bit of the bruschetta and it was also pretty good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant if you're in Milano!

We went here for lunch and had a very good lasagna and some ok gnocchi that looked and tasted like polenta. The salad I ordered was boring, for 9€ I had wished for some more effort or a house made dressing. That‘s why only 4 stars.

Came here for lunch during our short trip. The service is excellent, we had an overall amazing experience. The selected dishes all hit the spot. We had starters, two different lasagna and tiramisu. Service is professional, wine recommendations were proper. Absolutely recommending the place.

We had a lovely late dinner here - we were able to book for 9:30 and I don't think that was even the latest slot. There was a choice of several unusual lasagnes, as well other options, and I had one with escarole. I wouldn't normally associate escarole with lasagne but it worked well, with the slightly bitter greens cutting what was probably quite a rich dish. With it I had an unusual cauliflower-based juice drink which was very good as well. The restaurant interior is graceful with nature-themed decor (including tree branches and an old wooden carpenter's bench), and the staff were delightful too.

Charming place in a quiet road off the busy streets. Offers outside and indoor seating. Lovely place and great service by the waiters who are perfect in English and Italian and very accomodating. Though a little slow between courses, maybe the Italian way, its a relaxing place.

Really nice food, not quite five star level though, especially for the price. Portions are reasonably sized, but if you are used to UK meals where everything comes with some sort of sides/salad/potato/etc, this is different. You get the item ordered only. Not an issue really, but worth knowing. Nice venue and staff were really friendly. We had one of the lasagnas and ravioli, both very good. The russian salad starter was good too and my wife loved the tiramisu

We had a lovely dinner at this place. The bruschetta was nice, the red wine was great, the lasagna was incredible, and the tiramisu was also lovely. The staff were very professional and polite. We got some extra home-made bread which was a nice bonus. The location and room itself was nice too. There is outside seating available too. No complaints.

The pictures DO NOT at all fully represent how nice this place this is. If i am ever in Milan again I am not walking, but running back to this place, definitely would recommend a visit.
