There are some dishes marked as vegan that contain cheese and one (the black cabbage farinata) that contains meat too (you can see it in the photos), so be really careful when reading the menu.
I asked for polenta with mushrooms but they said it was not available because it was not the right season, and the same for all the soups: the soups and the polenta with mushrooms were the only vegan options (except for the side dishes and the "fett'unta" that is a starter) so I ended up eating some spaghetti with tomato (and they were not so good). I can understand that some dishes can be seasonal but I think it should be clearly written in the menu.
The waitress was not aware of what vegan means since she first proposed a dish with ragù and then another one with cheese.
Prices are aligned with all the other restaurants there and not so cheap.
Please be aware they serve lamb too.

Non sono chiaramente in grado di distinguere tra piatti vegetariani e vegani.
Ci sono alcuni piatti segnati come vegani che contengono formaggio e uno (la farinata con cavolo nero) che contiene addirittura carne (lardo di colonnata, vedere nelle foto), quindi fate molta attenzione leggendo il menù.
Ho chiesto di avere la polenta coi porcini ma mi è stato detto che non era disponibile a causa della stagionalità degli ingredienti così come tutte le zuppe: le zuppe e la polenta coi porcini sono le uniche opzioni vegane (escludendo i contorni e le fett'unte che sono antipasti) quindi alla fine ho dovuto mangiare una pasta con la passata di pomodoro (che non era nemmeno tanto buona). Posso capire che alcuni piatti siano stagionali ma penso che dovrebbe essere chiaramente segnalato nel menù.
La cameriera non sapeva bene cosa significasse vegano dato che prima mi ha proposto una pasta col ragù e poi un altro piatto col formaggio.
I prezzi sono allineati con gli altri ristoranti del posto, non così economici.
Siate consapevoli che servono anche agnello.

Fabulous spot! - Edit
A great spot for dinner after a memorable journey up to the village on the funicular railway from Montecatini Terme! Clearly labelled vegan options, I had porcini mushrooms on a bed of soft polenta with a side of fried potatoes! Friendly service and a great place to unwind!

good vegan selection - Edit
I was there twice. I really enjoyed the beautiful view and the good food. I can recommend you the traditional soups and the Gnocchi with truffle (there are not on their menu but I asked for that). The staff is nice. Definitely would come again.

The owner is vegetarian so they have many vegan dishes in the menu. I had a very good lunch. Really suggested!
