Great Small Restaurant

You have a choice of indoor dining & outdoor. Prefer to sit inside unless you are a smoker than sit outside. Prices are fairly cheap but does not include the local tax (currently 22%), yet if you eat there, plan to dress up fairly nice! No take out food only indoor dining. This restaurant is a 2-man business with the chef & the restaurant assistant. All the food is homemade fresh here including the bread they serve. Both vegan and vegetarian options available at this restaurant.

Cons: Smokers Outside

Great local option

We love living and eating in northern Italy, but sometimes it is frustrating finding good vegetarian options, especially for secondi piatti. This place is a welcome change. It is a small restaurant with one chef in the back and the owner serving you. Rather than ordering off the menu, he recommends that you select from a few options that he has available, probably due to what is in season. He has some excellent vegan options, including the best lasagna I have had in Italy. He believes that fake meat and cheese are an abomination (I am inclined to agree) and that vegetarian cooking must be approached from a whole new angle. And the bread was freshly baked & whole wheat, the best we have had so far. Highly recommended for herbivores in the Pordenone area.

Pros: Vegan options, Not just pasta, Great service

Cons: Slightly pricey
