Language barrier? - Edit
I saw nothing on the menu listed as vegan, and when I asked if they had any vegan items, they said no, not even plant milk for coffee--so I just had a plain espresso.
Read moreDid the waitress not understand me, or did she get confused? If so, this is why it is important to have vegan items clearly listed on the menu (as is the case with Folia across the street, where the vegan items are clearly marked).
