Lovely place to enjoy a meal - Edit
My friend and I shared the cheese plater which we say was already recommended on here. It was delicious but very pricey, as the other meals we also ate were. It was a lovely place to eat, the decor and the music was lovely. I believe (most of ) the food is organic and homemade.

Not vegan. - Edit
The food is fine, they have a lot of vegan options but is expensive and not plant based any more. The waitress was the best server we had in Italy, super service.

A renaissance feast - Edit
I should start with the host. Perhaps the kindest and most generous we met on our trip to Europe. We say this kit based on how we got treated - but observing how respectful and kind the crew were for every person in a busy, busy situation.
Read moreThis reflected in the wonderful sizing of servings. Food was excellent and oozed with organic goodness. 3 Primi - COus cous, penne pasta and black rice rissotto got us well and truly full. The main with tofu and rice was superb.
Highly recommend and grazie, grazie and grazie to the wonderful host. A true renaissance feast !
Pros: Generous helping, Tasty and organic, Amazing service - kindest host
Cons: A complex queuing and ordering process, Hard to get a table

Amazing - Edit
I visited almost all of the vegan restaurants during my 6-week stay in Florence and this one was without a doubt my favorite. The food is absolutely amazing, the interior is very inviting and the atmosphere is lovely and quiet. The menu is no longer associated with astrology, but they have some great stuff like gnocchi with spirulina, savoury tofu cake, la parmigiana, and panna cotta and chocolate mousse with orange and coffee for dessert. I brought many non-vegans there and they all loved it.

DO NOT MISS - Edit
Probably the best meal we ate while in Florence (even my non-veg family thought so!)
Read moreMenu is 100% vegan and delicious
We were blown away by this restaurant, it was completely not what we expected
Unrecognizable from reviews I’ve read of it, we were intrigued by the astrological element however there was no sign of this and the restaurant was elegant and quiet
AMAZING FOOD, don’t miss while you’re in Florence!
Aubergine parmigiana was the best!!
Pros: All vegan menu

Best food in Florence - Edit
The menu is no longer astrology themed as written in the description. The menu is very high quality “foodie” type, with homemade hummus and seed bread at the table, option of artisan vegan cheese platter to start and a good selection of mains. Everything has unusual flavour combinations and is beautifully presented. Cannot urge anyone enough to go here.

Instead there’s this place called Il Bio di Medici. All vegan, with a really nice atmosphere: great music, amazing cuperto (couvert), and the dishes are to live for! The desserts were great too :)

Nice, romantic location and inventive menu - Edit
Whether you believe it or not, you have to try your zodiac sign dish here (which seems to fit your sign's dietary requirements using only local Italian ingredients).
Read moreWe first started with an entrée with several sauces and spreads.
I then went for my sign's dish (I'm an Aries), made up of herb seasoned black rice with capers and cherry tomatoes; whole wheat bread crouton with stewed radicchio and walnuts; Tuscan cannellini bean and red onion salad. The desserts were also amazing, in particular their Neapolitan pastiera.
Pros: original menus , nice, romantic location

A bit of delusion - Edit
We were told that this place is super nice and romantic, also from the pictures it seemed that it's very nicely decorated, but after entering unfortunately my opinion changed. We were sitting in a completely white room with tables being super close to each other - good that in that room we were the only ones, otherwise I would've felt super uncomfortable by having strangers eating super close to me. No place where to hang your coat, price is quite high, even though the portions are good size. We took the special menu, which is kinda interesting, but at the same point I was not blown away by the quality of food. Probably the most disturbing thing was the feeling of dirtyness - everything looked quite old and the tablecloth was dirty with stains and breadcrumbs. In the other hall there were people eating who talked only English, but since the owner doesn't, she all the time called another colleague to talk to the ladies, but of course the calling was simply yelling out loud that she doesn't understand anything. Kinda ruined the atmosphere. There was no music in the background. The owner said that there were some wi-fi problems and that in general they are doing some reconstruction works, so let's hope that my bad experience was just a coincidence. In any case I really doubt that I'll go back.

Nicely decorated and some great dishes - Edit
The restaurant looks gorgeous and has a nice atmosphere. The entire menu is vegan, including the drinks. We had the lentil pies, which were not very special. We also had the pasta with ragu which was super delicious. As a dessert we had an apple tart and tiramisu. The tiramisu was amazing but the apple tart nothing special. Overall, they offer some great options but not all the dishes have the same wow factor.

Terrible! - Edit
First of all: I would give no star to this restaurant if that would be possible, but the Happy Cow System forces me to give two stars because it wants to give vegan restaurants its support!!
Read moreThis was the most terrible restaurant I ever visited! When we first entered the place we thought: WOW! Because it was really nicely decorated and the menu sounded quite great, but after we tasted the first bites, we were in shock! Everthing tasted like mayonnaise mixed with celery - my meal and my husband's, too - although we ordered two completely different dishes. Would not recommend this place at all: Digusting and pricey!
Pros: nothing
Cons: terrible food, very price

Sort of rude - Edit
Everything was fine. But I really don’t like it when they give you an entree and then charge you for it. I didn’t ask for it. Am I suppose to just leave there and have it go to waste? I went to pay and the lady didn’t know what she was doing and I think it was her place. Didn’t say thankyou or even look at me when I paid and just started talking to someone else. Suppose they knew I couldn’t Italian so didn’t bother to be kind.

Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
I highly recommend this restaurant. I officially tasted the best hard ‘cheese’ (vegan) of my life here. The main dish was also pretty amazing. I loved the restaurant, the food and the owner, who is very lovely. They allowed a couple with a nice dog inside the restaurant which is something we do not see often and I really appreciated it. I almost gave up on finding a vegan restaurant in Italy as the previous destinations I went to were closed. But then I met this nice gentleman who told me about this place, so it was really kind of fate which fits the name 🤗.

Slow food. (For real) - Edit
Went here on our first dinner in Florence for our honeymoon. The food was lovely but the service was unbelievably slow. This can be typical in Italy, but it was nearly 3 hours for 3 courses. We wanted dessert but it was midnight and we had to go.
Read moreOrdered ravioli (which was great), risotto (also great), Scheese starter plate (very nice and artisan cheeses), organic wine, and salads. It was moderately pricey but not too bad.
Food was great but the slow service made it difficult to leave without mixed reviews. The owner actually gave us a bag of free products off of the shelves as we were leaving... likely because she felt bad that it had taken so long.
Moral of the story, don't do if you have to be somewhere right after, but if you enjoy a long dinner and have time to chat with friends, you'll likely have a great time.
Pros: Excellent fine dining-style food
Cons: Very slow service (at least when we went)

A really nice restaurant. The staff were all super friendly, our waiter spent some time with us fully explaining the dishes to us in English and was really attentive. Even the Chef came out and asked the customers if they were enjoying their meals and took a bit of time to speak to us too. Really nice fresh courses, a lot of detail and effort in each dish. The desert which was a peach tart, almost made me blow my load. I'd highly recommend.

There was a birthday happening there and the group was given gift bags. My friend and I got one as well just for being there! I ordered some black rice dish to go because my friend got it and it was so delicious. The food was all very healthful and the staff was amazing. Exquisite Florence vegan experience.

YUM! - Edit
My husband took me here on a surprise date because I love astrology. Unfortunately they no longer serve the Astro themed menus which was why he wanted to take me here in the first place. Nevertheless the staff are lovely, the atmosphere romantic and the food was so delicious. We ate so much and really enjoyed ourselves. Get the lentil burger!

So disappointed. - Edit
I used to go to Le Fate every time I was in Florence. And I considered it the best Vegan experience in Florence... Until they changed the Chef... All the dishes are now really bland and lacking style. They make big use of prepacked ingredients now... And the price is not justified at all now!

Not worth it - Edit
There was no music at all when we went.
Read moreThey brought us hummus with baked potato crisps as a starter which was very nice, but only 4 chips.
I think the whole 'astrology' thing is very pretentious and boring, the guy spent 5 minutes explaining the whole thing.
The meals were HUGE, which explains the 25 euro per meal.
The food was okay, mum complained about there being too many different flavours on one plate.
The bread was completely dry and hard and horrible.
Pros: Big meal, Nice food
Cons: No atmosphere, Over-priced, Horrible bread
