Nice little restaurant that offers several vegan sandwiches. I had the Fall’ing for Ike’s. They don’t give you chips or a pickle. Sandwich bun was toasty beautifully and perfectly crispy. Adequate size sandwich and expensive like most places are these days. I didn’t sense very much of the protein product in the sandwich (e.g. like a texture of a meat substitute), and I was too hungry to deconstruct the sandwich to look at each layer.

I will revisit to taste other vegan options in the near future.

A great option for vegans - Edit
They have tons of veggie and vegan options. The sandwiches are quite large as well. I got the James and the Giant Peach sub, which was great! Many subs can be made vegan.

The best vegan subs in Austin - Edit
Ike's has the best vegan subs! My favorite is the Maya Angelou. The yellow BBQ sauce is so good! They have multiple vegan meat alternatives and their sandwiches are original and delicious.

Staff unwilling/unable to refund incorrect order
Between costing me over 90 minutes of my life on an incorrect order
A promise from staff for the manager to contact me
A lack of 'ability' to remake or refund my order
An inability to exclude food allergens which could hospitalize or kill me
An absolute disrespect for folks who need to manage their carbohydrate intake (timing medicine and/or eating)
I would say that a 1 star is far too generous.
I've worked in food service.
"I'm sorry"
"Please let me remake your order"
"We'll take care of this"
Any of the above would go a long way.
Turn off your phones?
Manager not return a call?
Add deadly allergens to a meal?
That's low.
