Always a go to place for me! - Edit
I LOVE Ike's and try to visit it wherever I go. I got my favorite, the Vegan Handsome Owl, and it was as good as I remembered 😄
Read moreI went back a couple of weeks later and really liked the Mel-lo kitty - the avocado adds a nice surprise and I added (for free) banana peppers. The pee wee was also great and the pickles and jalapeños that I added (for free) complemented with a nice kick. The French sauce has some garlic in it that leaves a bit of an after taste. The Mack Daddy is also good. The main two in my rotation are the handsome owl and mello kitty.
They said that the menu on the wall is only a partial menu and that the full menu has over 200 options. I’m not sure where to see the full menu, but their website does list other vegan options that aren’t on the menu on the wall. I joined their rewards program to get discounts.

Filling creative sandwiches - Edit
This chain of sandwich restaurants has a great selection of vegan options. They aren’t always on the menu that is displayed in the shop, so check online before or ask the friendly and helpful staff. Each sandwich has a great mixture of crunchy bread, protein, sauces, and fresh veg. They are filling. I had the Mel-lo Kitty, which was nice with the orange glaze and avocado; and the Pee Wee, which had a flavourful dressing (like a Reuben). Keen to try more of the options.

I ordered the mock chicken sandwich that had some kind of an orange glaze. It made me very happy. The best chicken sandwich I've had yet... I think Ike's needs a Boise location!

Excellent vegan options - Edit
This place is like what subway wishes it could be. Roughly 1/3 of their many sandwiches are vegetarian, almost all of which are veganizable with veg meat/cheese. Lots of unique combinations, and very flavorful. The meatballs are fantastic.

Hands down my favorite vegan sandwich spot. They have vegan meats and cheeses to choose from and their bread is amazing!! I get the vegan pee wee and it’s soo good.

So many Options - Edit
So many of the sandwiches can be made vegan, you can just ask, the staff is very accommodating. The vegan chickn is so good and don’t forget to try the famous Dutch Crunch Bread!
