Great loaded sandwich option - Edit
Visited from out of town and this was a great spot for unique sandwiches that are fully loaded! Had to enjoy mine in the car unfortunately (I do not recommend, they are very messy) but the vegan meatballs were delicious and the fried chicken was decent! It seems to be all about the sauce and toppings here.

Fast last minute option - Edit
I like how big their vegan menu is. Also a bonus to have this in downtown. I got the Fall’ing for Ike’s which is turkey and cranberry with other toppings. Definitely recommend if craving a thanksgiving feast.
Read moreThe fake meat is too real.. a few bites in I wondered if they mistakenly gave me real turkey so I had to stop eating the sandwich.
I then started questioning their cross contamination etiquettes.. do they even change their gloves? Do they use the same knives and machines for vegan and non vegan meals?
These contaminations are always possible when you eat at a non full vegan restaurant whether it’s upscale or not.

My boyfriend always gets the meatless mike and I have been getting the pilgrim lately. Ask for them to be made vegan and put them on the Dutch crunch bread. You’re welcome. Voodoo chips and baked fries are my favorite sides.

Delicious Vegan Sandwiches - Edit
Oh man. Ike’s offers a ton of unique vegan and vegetarian sandwich choices—my favorite is the Vegan Handsome Owl on sourdough. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what can be made vegan. I’m generally not a fan of faux meats, but their vegan chicken is delicious! I’d give them five stars if I could!

Happened upon an Ike's in California and loved it. Was so happy to know they had a couple locations in Phoenix. Great sandwiches, clearly marked menu, and friendly/knowledgeable workers.
