The plant based meatballs were tasty, it’s only the feeling after that - I was hungry again short after I finished the meal. But it was tasty and the meal has a really good price.

The City IKEA in Stockholm is a great spot for a quick and affordable bite. I love grabbing their Plantbullar or vegan hot dogs—classic IKEA quality at its best. It also brings back childhood memories for me, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

best veggie balls - Edit
I ordered mine without the gravy and with boiled potatoes instead of mashed as they usually are not vegan in Ikeas. The presentation is nothing special and neither are the sides but the plantballs are honestly the best! Don’t underestimate them! You can also buy them frozen here.

Hey! I’m not sure if it’s the same in Sweden but at IKEA in the UK the mashed potato and the creamy sauce are both just veggie, as they contain dairy. The plant balls are vegan but usually need to be served with fries, peas and lingonberry jam to be a fully vegan dish.
