An option in Gargzdai

(Update 2023: More options for vegetarians than a vegan. It is still one of the few eateries in this town to have allergens listed readily, though.) I was excited to visit Ievos because their website had raw vegan desserts listed. Unfortunately, you need to place an order in advance for them as their bakery case does not carry vegan desserts readily. However, since I was visiting friends, we decided to eat here for lunch. I'll have to try their vegan desserts another time.

Their food menu had common allergens listed, which was a first I saw in LT. Mostly all their non-meat items had dairy in it. I spoke with a waitress and she informed me that their pizza dough had milk in it, but the gluten-free crust was dairy free. (UPDATE 2023: The gluten free crust now contains dairy. All of their bread items have dairy in it) I ordered the Vegetarų with no cheese and the gluten-free crust. The waitress also said there was no dairy in their pesto sauce. The gluten-free crust also comes in just one size and an additional €2 price tag. I also got an order of french fries with vegetables to share. The pizza was very flavorful as the sundried tomatoes, olives, and garlic packed a punch. The fries are nice and crispy. The cucumbers on the plate are a refreshing crunch. They have a fun drink menu. I recommend the hot orange drink (orange juice, cinnamon, and chili pepper).
They have a lovely outdoor dining space with a small little slide right outside if you have children in your party.
