Great vegan options in beautiful eco and health food shop

Really impressed by both the vegan food and the shop. Only a small cafe but great, tasty and high quality vegan and vegetarian food. The shop health food products, but also alternative and eco gifts, artwork and more. Very beautiful shop and cafe.

Brilliantly stumbled upon

Just stumbled across this gem. After walking 8 miles and feeling a little jaded I found this little cafe and shop lots of vegan options cooked fresh by vegan owners. Very friendly folk.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Vegan cakes!!, Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff

Lovely place

Some good options in an incredibly cute store. Just watch out for random closings - we've driven over 1.5 hours to get here on two occasions only to find a sign on the door saying they are closed and sorry for the inconvenience.

Great cafe and community meeting place

This cafe in the centre of the village has great coffee and food and a great vibe. The whole community seems to meet up here for a relaxing coffee and lovely home-made cakes. Many of the cakes are vegan. I really enjoyed the freshly baked blueberry scone and can't wait to go back for the chocolate and pear cake.
Light lunches are served here and on Saturday mornings there is a hearty cooked breakfast. I had the vegan breakfast with tofu scramble, vegan chorizo sausages, polenta slice, cooked tomatoes and sourdough toast. Delicious !
The store inside the cafe is well stocked too. I bought some choice fresh fruit and veg and other provisions. There is enough choice in the store that you could stock up without having to travel outside the village.
The owners are lovely and very welcoming. In cooler weather the wood-burning stove is a nice addition to the ambience of the place. Well worth a visit.
