Stays open later if weather is good. Take-away only from 45 minutes prior to closing time. Brussels waffles are available on weekends and bank holidays as long as there is batter. When the weather is hot, does not serve waffles. Open Mon 14:00-19:00, Fri 14:00-19:00, Sat-Sun 11:00-19:00. Hours vary on public holidays - please check website.

Malheureusement en Belgique nous sommes taxés différemment si nos clients mangent sur place ou emportent les choses. La différence est énorme. Calculer un prix différent, est le plus honnête pour nos clients.
En ce qui concerne votre gobelet, vous avez raison, j'ai oublié.

The beat vegan ice cream ever!!! It was so amazing and tasty, the highlight of my holiday in Belgium. If you ever visit Antwerp this is a must do! Super friendly staff, great decor and tasty ice cream, also at a great price! The lady also told us about a nice area with a vegan food truck which we visited later on which was also amazing!

Ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat ik wel wat verbaasd bent dat je het duur vindt. Onze prijzen liggen volledig in lijn met de prijzen van koemelk gelateria, ook al zijn onze veelal biologische en 100% vegan grondstoffen veel duurder in aankoop. En helaas zijn de kosten van energie en grondstoffen gigantisch gestegen :-(

Hallo, iedereen heeft een ander budget. En over de 4 Euro voor een bol ijs is voor mij echt heel veel. Dat is nog één Euro duurder dan 'n bol ijs dat ik vorige maand in Zwitserland Lugano had. En daar schrok ik al van de prijs. Ik heb nog nooit een prijs van 3 euro per bol gezien tot laatst in Lugano. Maar meer dan 4 Euro, wist niet eens dat het kon.

They stop making waffles when the weather is too hot, so be aware if you are coming for vegan waffles, like we did, just so you're not disappointed like us :'(

We have been experiencing extreme temperatures in Belgium this summer with many days of 34°C and more. All the cooling installations in our shop have been working very hard to keep our gelato cold, only adding to the heat.
When we put our waffle irons on, the heat increases further because each iron works at approx. 200°C to bake waffles.
What matters most to us, is the welfare of our staff and our customers.
With this immense heat, we decided not to bake waffles. This situation only occurred twice this summer.

Me and my boyfriend are so lucky.. We live in the Neighborhood and this is our favourite place for dates: refreshing flavours in the Summer, warming waffles and drinks during the winter. Always friendly people, the best vegan Icecream BY FAR! Icelab convinced me to go vegan on Ice😉oh and the waffles... mjum! We always have our (decomposable and reusable) container filled with 12! scoops in our frige, just in case 😅

Honestly, an excellent ice-cream (or gelato), creamy and tasty. The choice of flavours was great. Finally a place where you can get more than just fruit ice-cream or the omni-present Oreo flavour. Coffee! Stracciatella! Pistacchio! And more. There are also toppings like nuts and amarena, but we didn't try them (next time I will).
Read moreThe waffles were great with it. We tried both kinds, the Brussel waffle and the Luik / Liege waffle. The first is lighter and larger, the latter is more sugary with a crispy top.
Indoor and outdoor area, very central, nicely decorated in pastel colours, with leaflets of events and animal rights campaigns available for guests. Service was quick and kind, and we went on a busy and quite hot day.

08/08/22: We went to Antwerp again and visiting IceLab again was high on our to do list. Service still super friendly (we had a lovely talk with her) and the ice cream is still delicious! Still one of my favourite places in Antwerp.
Read more21/03/22: It has been so long since I had a fresh waffle so I was super excited to get one here and wasn't disappointed. Freshly made and absolutely delicious. The ice cream and whipped cream were both creamy enough and super tasty and even my non vegan friend loved it. The lady working there was super friendly as well and helped us wonderfully.
It seems a bit on the pricier side at first (3 euros for one scoop of ice cream for example) but don't be afraid, it is worth it as the quality is great and you get more than you expect as one scoop seemed more like two regular scoops to me.
Would definitely recommend everyone going here and I will be back as well when we are in Antwerp again!

So happy to have found this place. The ice cream was amazing, i was so happy to finally see other options than sorbet of pure chocolate. The waffle is also delicious. My non-vegan boyfriend also approved. Would have never guessed it was vegan if i didn’t know. Definitely come here!

We pass by every time we can and try as many flavours as we can. Last time, we had the pistachio, Biscoff/speculoos, hazelnut, amarena & cheesecake. Honestly they are all really good. I love how their pistachio ice cream isn't artificially colored and actually tastes like pistachio. The cheesecake one also had some yoghurty taste to it, which I thought was refreshing. My favourite is hazelnut, as always: sooooo good. Also really friendly staff, and they have vegan waffles as well. The Liège-style warm sugar waffle is mouthwatering. Must try!

If you come here, you'll really be spoiled for choice! There are several ice cream flavours to choose as well as other decadent items on the menu like Belgian waffles. We tried the pistachio and cheesecake flavours, and both were delicious. It's a great place to stop if you've been walking all around Antwerp all day!

Everything is really right here: very nice space where you can also sit outside, fantastic homemade ice cream and very tasty waffles plus fantastic latte macchiato and espresso.
