Incredible - Edit
This vegan restaurant served one of the best meals we’ve ever had.
Read moreI’ve only ever had one good vegan Mac and cheese before this restaurant and I was glad to find another here!
The cauliflower wings are the best I’ve ever tried and the barbecue sauce is delicious.
The burger was very tasty and even felt healthy while tasting great. The fries it came with were Greg perfect taste and saltiness.
The service was incredible here and the women who worked there were so lovely and extremely helpful.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant 10/10 would recommend!
Pros: Mac and cheese, Cauliflower wings, Service!

Really good foods, small portions - Edit
Great, amazing soul food! It was near impossible to find vegan food near the convention center, so this was a fresh of breath air. The people were very kind.

Best in NOLA - Edit
I honestly wasn’t expecting the food to be as good as it was — a lot of places have underwhelming Mac & cheese and wooow was this one so, so good. The whole mac & cheese plate was the star of the show. The breaded ‘shrimp’ sandwich was also amazing 🙌🏻 I’m going to have to come back to New Orleans just for this 🫃🏻

Yummy southern soul food - Edit
I was so happy to try them out. I dined in and ordered the Mac Plate, which came with mac n cheese, bbq cauliwings, creole greens, and cornbread. The mac n cheese tasted just okay to me. I'm a huge fan of mac n cheese and am highly critical of it! It tasted a bit mushy and could just use some tweaks. The cornbread was my favorite on the plate. The person I dined with ordered the I-tal Plate, which was coconut curry blackeyed peas with quinoa, creole greens, cauliwings, and cornbread. I tasted a few bites of their plate, and it tasted yummy. Overall, everything tasted good, and we enjoyed our meals.
Read moreI like that they identify which dishes on the menu contain nuts. I noticed that most of the dishes contain nuts, which is challenging for those with nut allergies. They told me that anything with cheese or ranch on the menu containes cashews. I dined with someone allergic to cashews, so this was a bummer.
Cons: Most dishes contain nuts; con for nut allergies

Amazing soul food! - Edit
Came here with 2 non vegans and everyone loved what they got. Staff was super friendly and food was delicious. Highly recommend the I-tal plate, which has a bunch of different things to try. Lemonade was great, too! Only thing I didn’t love was the crab cakes, though they weren’t bad at all.

Vegan Oasis! - Edit
Walking distance from the French Quarter and just a couple blocks outside of Louis Armstrong Park, this awesome restaurant was a welcome respite on a hot day. Two friendly ladies greet us and took our order. The food came out quickly and it was beyond expectation. We tried the Lemon Pepper Oyster Wrap with fries and the Mac Plate. Both of which were delicious and plenty of food, the Mac Plate was a whole lot of food! They also have some refreshing drinks, we tried the Hibiscus Tea and the Lemon Ginger drink, both had good flavor and were not too sweet.

Mixed Bag of Cajun Delights: A Vegan Food Adventure - Edit
As we set out to satisfy our craving for Cajun flavors in New Orleans, we stumbled upon a promising vegan joint with high expectations. Arriving around 7pm, we hoped for a culinary journey in Louisiana. Alas, our experience was a mixed bag of hits and misses.
Read moreWe kicked off our meal with the Cajun Oyster Bites, a promising start for a lover of oyster mushrooms like myself. However, the heavy breading left much to be desired, crying out for a bold dipping sauce to elevate the flavors.
Moving on to our mains, we opted for the Mac Plate featuring dairy-free Mac and cheese, collard kale cabbage greens, buttered soulful cornbread, and BBQ crispy cauli-wings. Among these, the Cauli Wings emerged victorious, boasting a delightful crunch and robust barbecue flavor. The cornbread and cauliflower-wings stole the show . Unfortunately, the Mac and cheese fell short, weighed down by an excess of sauce, resulting in a disappointingly soggy consistency.
Our adventure took an unexpected turn with the Ra Pasta, a fusion of smoked jackfruit, grilled veggies, and crispy oyster mushrooms simmered in a coconut milk-based sauce, served atop a bed of penne noodles. While the oyster mushrooms were ok,, the absence of jackfruit was puzzling, and the pasta was soggy and tasted like it has been sitting all day.
What was really disappointing, is, we chose to dine in. Our dinner was served in multiple to go containers. I would've thought that a vegan restaurant would've been more environmentally conscious.
Pros: Great Service , Plenty of indoor only sitting , We had nice conversations with other customers
Cons: Food felt like it had been sitting for awhile , Oyster Mushroom App needed a sauce

Wish I could give a 4.8 - Edit
Pasta was good, other food was mid. And they were out of a lot of options when I got there (not close to closing time). Service was a bit slow, but flavor profiles say that the food was made with love. Candied yams were candied - just sweet potatoes

Great vegan soul food - Edit
We went for dinner at about 6:30 on a Friday night and it was fairly quiet. Our food came out within about 20 minutes, and tasted amazing - we went for the lemon pepper oyster wrap, a build your own plate with jackfruit ribs, Cajun greens, jambalaya and mac n cheese, with a side of avo fries. Would absolutely go back if we’re visiting again!

Bit let down (during Mardi gras) - Edit
We went on the Saturday of the final Mardi gras weekend and were probably the second or third group after they opened that day. Service was painfully slow and unhelpful - they told us they were out of the breakfast sandwich but didn't mention the yogurt parfait we ordered wasn't available. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and when we went to ask for them, they gave us a smoothie to replace the parfait but didn't offer anything else. We eventually asked for some fruit and granola which they begrudgingly brought out. Salad with vegan crab cake was good. Also wish they served coffee for brunch time.

Best bday gift to myCELLf - Edit
Go! Go! Go there! Get there! Support there! Buy ALL from there! 😄🔥🔥🔥 EYE forgot EYE did not do my review for them when EYE flew there last year for my bday(Feb3rd♒) and went this day. Thank God for photo memories that pop up because they deserve this credit. Everything you see pictured EYE ate THERE. Don't ask where this little body of mine stored it but we, ME, MYSELF and EYE, held it 👇🏿 down😎😇😁.
Read moreEYE didn't take a pic of it all but these were the dishes that STOOD out to ME. EYE had a breakfast sandwich, croissant 🥐 with their play on bacon 🥓, egg 🍳 and cheese 🧀. This may have been a special! EYE had the Cajun pasta with salad and the pancake platter. EYE did leave the store with dessert, the Lemon Lavender 🍰,but it got devoured within the hour😋. NO EXAGGERATING HERE! I AM not getting paid for any of my reviews but we know it takes one match stick🧨 to start a fire 🔥 or to KEEP it going. So this is MY truthful contribution💜to KEEP it going. I AM going to one day fly back just to visit and support them ALL over again with a few other places in mind.
Pros: The pics I posted were the best savory at the time, The desserts were 🔥, Atmosphere
Cons: Customer service was ok at the time of visit
