Serves meat, vegan options available. One of few eateries at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) that has vegan choices, although somewhat limited. Has an English menu. Located in the departure area on the 4th floor of Terminal 2. Closed due to covid and not re-opening.

Not bad for vegan airport food! - Edit
If you like mushrooms, this is the place for you! The other reviews had me expecting flavorless food, but really the dumplings and soup are quite mushroomy. The soup that comes with the meal is mildly spicy due to large ginger pieces -- both they and the enoki mushrooms in it look a bit like meat at first, as a warning. Current price for dumpling meal: 280 NTD

Cons: Soup is so gingery

The only option at the airport - Edit
Airports generally aren't the best places to get either vegan or healthy food. Since I was very early for my flight I opened up the HappyCow app just to see if it would produce any result at Taipei airport. To my surprise: it did!
Read moreSo I went to I-Mei Dim Sum. They have 3 vegan options, clearly marked as being vegan with the well-known logo with the green letter "v". They are: fried rice, noodles and dumplings. I ordered both the rice and the dumplings and that was a mistake: one of these options is more than enough.
The rice was tasteless and the ingredients obviously of the lowest possible quality. My dumplings were purple on the outside and contained some brown and green stuff in the inside which didn't taste special (actually it didn't have much taste at all). Yet, I am thankful that I-Mei at least offers vegan options. When it's the only option on the airport who am I to complain? I'm grateful!
Pros: quick service, cheap, 3 vegan options
Cons: low quality ingredients, tasteless

Good food, good prices, good portions - Edit
I got the vegetable noodles. It came with lots of mushrooms, vegetables, noodles and some beans and tofu, as well as a small side of baked tofu and edamame. It is not the most flavorful thing ever, and reminds me a lot of temple food, but is a nice wholesome meal. Vegan beer options as well.

It will do! - Edit
I had the dumpling set with a soup & mango juice. It will definitely do while at the airport!

Vegan options available - Edit
Probably the only place with vegan options at T2. Two choices available: veggie fried rice and veggie dumplings. Both are labelled vegan on the menu. I had the fried rice. Portion wasn't huge but taste wise it was pretty good.

Dumplings! - Edit
We had an early morning flight and didn't have time for breakfast at the hotel so this spot came as a welcome surprise. The food was actually pretty good - initially, a bit on the bland side but that was easily solved wth the free condiments that are available (fresh chilies, etc.). Considering our options (which were really none) we were definitely happy overall and would return the next time we're at TPE Terminal 2 (even if other options pop up).

Cons: Limited vegan options
