Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant offering a vegan section with 'beef' burrito, tacos and 'chicken' sandwich. Open Mon-Thu 7:00am-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 7:00am-10:00pm, Sun 7:00am-9:00pm.
This former Grain Cafe - Van Nuys locations is the new and latest.
I Love U Brunch is very much all in the name, however their small limited vegan menu consist of a "Chicken" Sandwich, Burrito and Tacos, none of which are very brunchy.
They've cancelled one of my take out orders as well as a deliver for me and always seem to be out or low when in person of their vegan items.
I'm not sure what the deal is here, but as far as I can tell it's very lackluster. It looks nearly exactly the same on the outside with some nice additions to the inside though it could be a cousin of it's previous incarnation off Gilmore Street.
Not ideal for large groups as most tables and chairs, including the patio are limited to 2 to 4 people. Some of the sides are vegan friendly as well as the avocado toast (without egg) and veggie wrap when you omit the dairy/cheese.
Though this makes them mostly vegetarian friendly.
Load of beverages and dairy based smoothies which I believe can be made vegan since they do offer both almond and oat milk.
The service isn't the best so I'm not sure I'll give them any more chances.
