Decent food, bit pricey - Edit
Good food, only vegan ramen around that offers a variety of dishes. Bit pricey yet that’s what common for the area. Probably would need an appetiser to go along with the ramen!

Would give this a 1 star but wouldn’t let me.

Quite a simple menu but what they do they do well. Ramen is delicious and the drinks are lovely. Situated in the downstairs of a surf shop it has a cool open feel.

I like the food here, the vibe is cool too. Wish they had a bit more protein in the meals but I guess ramen isn't traditionally a protein heavy meal. Wait times can be a bit long when it's super busy.

Definitely not enough tofu in the ramen, about 4 cubes. Had to pay for extra tofu and after waiting 15 minutes they brought it out cold so wasn’t that great. The rest of the meal was delicious.

Had planned on going elsewhere but they have changed opening hours, but I’m so happy to have found this restaurant. It was amazing. I love it when you don’t have to think about what’s on the menu, you can just order anything.

We were able to get a nice table on a Sunday night. The ordering was done through electronic devices which I loved and then you go to the counter at the end to pay. I had an espresso martini, shared the kaarage cauliflower which was delicious. I would have liked to have ordered the mushrooms too but I wanted the ramen. I ordered the mapo tofu ramen. It was very tasty and a generous serving. I liked the noodles and the lentils. The lentils really and and the broth was tasty. Friendly service.

Do your self a favour and eat here. I can’t even remember which ramen I ordered but it was so fkn tasty. I force fed myself the last bit of the bowl cos I didn’t want to waste it, the serving sizes were HUGE.

Lovely food, great vibe. Had the new Karaage Cauliflower Donburri and it was delicious. Portion size was excellent too. Husband had the mushroom ramen and he said it was really warming, perfect for a winters day.

Read moreThey’re entrees are not as good as they were. Was very sad to see the sticky eggplant dish go. Don’t get me wrong, they are still good and we order them each time, but would like to see more variety (or bring back the eggplant :)

Took my Omni mates here and we all had various Ramen dishes, everyone was very happy with the food. I had the one with pork in it but also added the roast chick’n which was probably the most realistic chick’n I’ve had.

Read moreWe stayed on the Gold Coast recently so we could go here but you cannot book a table. You have to attend and put your name down. As a result we missed out on going as the wait was 45 mins and they closed in 60. I wish they introduced a proper booking system

Stayed in Coolangatta for 1 night with my Girlfriend and a friend, we chose to spend our evening here, even though it was a little bit of a drive.
Read moreWe enjoyed some Gin and Tonic and shared a plate of the ‘karaage cauliflower’ before ordering our food, my girlfriend had the ‘chick’n white miso broth’, my friend had the ‘chick’n and shiitake mushroom broth’ I had the ‘Bao Trio’.
My friend said the ‘chick’n and shiitake mushroom broth’ had a good contrast in flavour and a good range of accompaniments in the dish. Only note was, you can buy the chicken they use from Woolworths in Australia.
Have always wanted to try Vegan Bao buns, this is the place to get them! I tried the ‘Duck’, ‘Prawn’ and ‘Panko Mushroom’ Bao’s. I recommend the ‘Duck’ Bao ! And I will be back to try out the shiitake mushroom Bao !
Pros: Great atmosphere., Great food., Vegan Bao Buns 🤤.
Cons: ‘ Chic’n ’ is store bought
