Excellent for vegetarians and non-vegetarian friends - Edit

Indeed, hygge is a small, cozy restaurant. There are only two tables. One can seat four people and the other can seat two people. The menu includes both meat and vegan options, so its great if you’re having a meal with a non-vegetarian. The food is very fresh quite spicy, but you can ask for more/less spicy dishes. The vegan hot cost 27 bolivianos (a little less than $4). Furthermore, the service was wonderful. Am planning on returning!

Great juices - Edit

We loved this place so much we went back for more! A great place to eat in or take for takeaway. He owner is super friendly and helpful.
We ordered a vegan hotdog and a falafel sandwich, both filling and delicious.
The juice was packed with veggies and goodies!

Pros: Juice, Vegan hot dogs!

delicious (vegan) hot dogs! - Edit

though hygge is a really small restaurant, it is a cosy relaxed space, and still kid-friendly, hooray. they serve meat hot dogs and vegan hot dogs, and also have veggie sandwiches and homemade falafels. lots of drink choices, from juices to coffee to beer to mixed drinks. we went on a saturday nights around 7 and it quickly filled up but there was no pressure to leave. the location is excellent too, in the middle of sopocachi, just a block away from plaza avaroa. will definitely go back!

oh, and it seems like there are lunch specials. generally the hot dogs cost around 25 bs (around $3.50 as of feb. 2017), including chips, but for lunch they advertised salad + hot dog/sandwich + a dessert for 35 bs (around $5).

Pros: excellent food, good value, nice vibe

Cons: small location, no lunch on saturdays
