Ok and pricy

Food was delicious but not special.
The prices are crazy high (but I think that’s typically in Singapore)

Pros: Super comfy location

Cons: Expensive

Tasty but pricy! 🧇

The mochi waffle with gelato was divine! Cinnamony, chewy and crispy waffle topped with the most creamy matcha ice cream. Opted for extra goma gelato as well. The drink, hojicha goma latte was tasty but so tiny, especially for ~$6. Unfortunately they were out of all their pastries… on a Saturday during brunch time - weird! Cute interior! Employees are bored because it’s not really busy and hide behind the bar watching TikTok lol

Mochi waffles

I love the mochi waffles! Even my friends who are non-veg are impressed with the waffle! It’s rather exotic.

Amazing pastry

Had a Danish pastry and iced match latte with soy milk.
Matcha was a little strong for me but if you like the flavour it's great.
Pastry was delicious.

Very serene and quiet cafe.

Awesome cafe

A beautiful and tranquil Japanese Cafe & Teahouse. Everything here at Hvala @ Craig Road is Vegan!

Love the deep meaning of 一期一会 (Ichi-go ichi-e) ...

Love my Vegan Matcha Cake and Hot Matcha Tea. The vegan ice cream, waffle, chaffogato look so tempting😋

A cafe that I would think of returning for the vegan food, the tranquil vibe, ....

Finally understood what’s all the hype about Hvala.

I visited the Craig Rd cafe (their only all-vegan cafe) with a group of friends to satisfy our dessert cravings after having a savoury dinner at Well Loft (go check that out!). We picked four ice cream flavours, Matcha°1, Matcha°2, Matcha°3 and Hojicha, to topped over two pieces of fluffy vegan waffles.

As we’re ‘connoisseurs’ of Japanese teas, we highly recommend getting Matcha°3 and Hojicha for the super shiok experience. The flavour I would describe as robust, with a good balance of fragrance and tea flavour.

If you are new to matcha flavours, you might find these two flavours bitter and intense, so for these people, I would suggest starting from Matcha°1 first and slowly work your way up the intensity.

Pros: Great hang out place for matcha enthusiasts, Excellent dessert choices, Friendly staff

Cons: Noisy when crowded, Large group wait 45 minutes for a table
