Hutong - Edit
I counted 14 vegan options today. Overall, the food was OK, it could’ve been more flavorful. Surprisingly, the fried yam dish was quite good. The vegan fried noodles were good and the braised tofu was decent. I probably would never order the squash and soybean dish again. It’s not a cheap place, but it seems a lot of people go here for the view (which is nice), but I used to work in the Shard and am not impressed since I had already been used to the view, so I personally wouldn’t go back to Hutong for the food or the view.

Tasty vegan dishes but limited options - Edit
Hutong does do a handful of vegan dishes, which are very tasty, but we had to order every vegan dish on the menu (about 4) to feed 2 people, so options are very limited. The food was very good however, so this is a good option if dining with non-vegan friends, or wanting to see the view from the top of the Shard!

Hutong is not a vegan restaurant, but if you're out to impress, this ia the place to go.
Read moreObviously the location (The Shard), the service (excellent) and atmosphere, are all impressive. But the help from the staff, going through the menu and suggesting how we could adapt some of the dishes to vegan, was top notch.
Delicious food and will be coming back again and again.
