A vegan cafe in the city centre - hoorah!!! - Edit
Fab to have a proper vegan cafe in town. I hope the lovely sweet treats and coffee will attract all sorts of customers so they can see how delicious vegan cakes and treats can be. Most people dont think it is possible. For the vegans there are delicious toasties and tofu scramble. There is soup too which should appeal to everyone. It is dog friendly and a spacious place. It was a cold day when we visited and the cafe was cold and my tofu scramble and toast got cold very quickly. We shared a huge pistachio and cherry cookie and a tiffin bar which were both delicious. There is a small menu but I can’t wait to return to try the gumbo or the pancakes and scones.
Read moreUpdate. I have been here many times now. Everything is tasty and all served at appropriate temperatures. I have enjoyed several of the toasties and soups and stews now and sweet treats and hot chocolate. All excellent. It is getting busier. Yesterday there wasn’t a free table although we were able to divide up a larger one so I don’t think anyone was turned away. Still reasonably priced food. The drinks are quite dear but aren’t they most places now.

My favourite place in Belfast - Edit
Great food and drinks! The staff is very friendly and the whole place feels like a much needed oasis in a city with so few vegan spaces. Hustle is a must visit for vegans, vegetarians and honestly just anyone in the area 🌱

Must try! - Edit
Such a nice cafe with great food, coffee, and vibes. My partner and I each had oat milk lattes that were really good, and I had one of their scones with jam and butter. It was one of the best vegan scones I’ve had. Love that all of the food and beverages are vegan. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Belfast!

Tasty and great vibe - Edit
Not many fully vegan options so we had to try this. Coffee and treats were excellent. While we didn’t have any non-treat food, the sandwiches and soup looked and smelled amazing. Would definitely come back.

Hurry on here - Edit
Super chilled coffee house, with cool decor and friendly staff.
Read moreWe ordered the lentil daal and potato bread stack hustle, which were both delicious. The soy chai lattes were spot on too 👍.
We also shared a pretzel and butterscotch cookie and cornflake chocolate chip cookie that were divine, and bought some very tasty sausage rolls for our flight home 😋.

Went for breakfast today and it was lovely. My partner had the potato stack which he declared the best vegan breakfast he’s had!

Hustle up to an outstanding plant based dining experience - Edit
Really enjoyed my experience at this Belfast plant based Restaurant. The tomato and basil soup was beautiful as were the oh so tasty sour dough toasties. Highly recommend! Our party also tried some of the desserts on offer which were such a pleasure to eat at home later. The decor was quirky and comfortable and the staff were great. A very welcoming place with a fantastic 100% plant based menu, what's not to love! 💘

Super filling and tasty - Edit
Came for lunch and the servings were so generous, I did not need dinner later! I had the potato bread stack with bacon, sausage and scrambled tofu. I love a good protein hit and this was one for sure. I was very keen to try the potato bread and it was delicious. It was all very good and I would order it again.

There was cake but sadly, I was just too full.

City centre vegan - Edit
I had never realized this was a vegan place, or a cafe at all actually. There's a quirky sign outside, so may be hard to find.
Read moreA good choice selection of all vegan grub.
Really tasty toastie with soup - soup well worth it. Reasonable pricing in the city centre, and all vegan, makes this a great asset for when you're walking around town.
I think they do events here like pop up markets etc - seems like it would be a good space for it.
Pros: Reasonable pricing, Wide selection, Location

Hustle here - Edit
I really enjoyed my Irish stew here - never having had the meat version. I definitely had food envy as well for the choices my companions made but I was so full after my stew I couldn't have managed a toastie as well. I got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie to go and I had a moment of bliss eating it on the train home - the flavours were phenomenal and it was crispy not fluffy just as I prefer a cookie to be. Would definitely return again if I was in the area!

Excellent vegan café, unbeatable food - Edit
Fully vegan and lovely service always, not the priciest in the world and the quality of the food is great. I’ve had breakfast a few times, smoothies are great, desserts are great - the Christmas sandwich was one of the best things I ate in 2024. #Veganuary

Best plant based toasties in Belfast - Edit
I was surprised that there were not many vegan restaurants/cafes in Belfast, but I was so happy that I found Hustle. I went with my boyfriend and we liked it SO MUCH that we dropped by again before leaving. We had the daily soups, and the chickpea and festive toasties (which were delicious, especially the festive one). The staff were very nice and welcoming, the vibe and atmosphere very chill, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend it and would definitely go back if I’m ever in Belfast again. #Veganuary
