Vegan's Welcome - Edit
Nice little restaurant on the overpass that connects the Luxor to Madalay. They have a full page Vegan Menu with the usual Mexican treats.
I wanted to get the breakfast burrito but they ran out ingredients. I opted instead for enchiladas. The food tasted okay. Something a bit off about the sauces and faux-meats but not too bad. Even the rice was a bit off. The re-fried beans were fantastic!
The atmosphere is a little cramped and the tables are pushed really close together. We had the unfortunate luck of being seated next to a table full of loud drunk girls so the dining experience was not so great.
I would definitely go back though, even with all the negatives. The fact that they have a whole page designated for the vegans brings me great peace of mind. And the mariachi band that was working the room I thought was a nice touch.
Pros: Lot of vegan options
Cons: Mediocre food, Crowded

so so, okay - Edit
I checked the other people's reviews about this restaurant because I was staying at the Silver Legacy anyway. I went with one of the reviewer's recommendation and ordered "chicken" quesadia. It was okay. 'Chicken" was rubbery, but flour tortillas were crispy and delicious. But our waiter was a total nightmare. He was rude, arrogant and just horrible. I accidentally dropped my friend's beer on the floor and I apologized him when he started cleaning. But he IGNORED me completely!!! The personal size plate was not clean when he broight it to the table. But I have to say that homemade chips and salsa was to die for! So if you are lucky enough not to have THE waiter I had, you'll probably have a okay experience. Would I return there? Maybe....just to have the chips and salsa!
Pros: delucious homemade chips and salsa, mariachi
Cons: grumpy waiter, feels like foid court

bad food, way overpriced - Edit
Bad food, way overpriced! Vegan chili relleno was awful- only one chile, no breading, was not stuffed, no tortillas, and served with fake meat that tasted more like play-doo. I've never seen chile relleno served with meat standard, but they only serve it with fake beef or chicken- why???
Beer selection is horrible!

Great for Vegans! - Edit
We were so glad to find this place just down the way from our hotel. Hussong's has a separate vegan menu and the servers were super accommodating, even letting us order from the vegan menu after hours. Great cantina-style Mexican food that comes with ALL the vegan fixin's (Gardein, Daiya, and FYH sour cream)! We highly recommend the Quesadilla!
Pros: full vegan menu, margaritas, very accommodating
Cons: serves meat
