Located in a calm and friendly environment, Hunter Street Markets offers a selection of vendors - all of which have an offering of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, as well as homemade jams and goods, which add character to each merchant’s sales.
Each seller has something different to offer. While one focuses on juices and smoothies, another produces homemade chutney and banana bread. However, they all stock fresh produce.
It is a shame that I only spotted two or three vendors after expecting a large scale marketplace. The high price of organic produce adds to the exclusivity of the markets, and will mostly cater for customers of a healthy budget. I would say this place is most suitable for locals that are willing or looking to consume high quality, organic ingredients.
Pros: Friendly vendors, Organic produce, Nice location and environment
Cons: Expensive (normal for organic), Not too many vendors
