Popped in here whilst visiting a friend, food was lovely and my dog was allowed in which always helps. Food was yummy, plenty of choice the only thing I will say is I really did fancy a English breakfast type meal but that’s just me being fussy on that day 😂

Came here for my birthday lunch and loved it! Tried their Raspberry Ripple Matchagato (a matcha shot poured over raspberry flavoured soft serve) which was SO GOOD and the Breakfast Bagel (also very nice). My boyfriend went for the Ch*kn Caesar Sandwich which looked incredible! The chocolate cake is also nice 😋

Read moreKofta Wrap was great, very tasty, and reasonable cost. They were sold out of a lot of stuff so just went with whatever the dude behind the counter recommended. I'm 6ft 1 and it filled me up so decent size too.
Pot of English tea with oat milk did the job and was tasty too. Some places don't give you a pot and go with just a cup. What's that about? Hunter Gatherer passed my relatively simple tea test.
It was all clean, well decorated, and (I assume) the owner was super friendly chatting to customers about all sorts. The other staff were friendly and attentive too.
I even enjoyed the chilled out Latin playlist they had on the go.

The food and coffee here was really nice, we tried the Breakfast Bagel and Breakfast Wrap. There had been thought and care go into making these as they were well constructed, had great fillings and were very tasty, a good solid breakfast for the price.
Read moreSadly though I think the menu has really been paired back, at least it was in March 2024. There was only really a Breakfast Bagel, Wrap or Sandwich on offer, sadly none of the or full breakfasts pictured on happycow or the pancakes that are on the menu on the website.

What a great little find in the heart of Southsea. Fully vegan menu. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, everything has an eco friendly feel. Extensive menu with everything vegan, the mermaid matcha latte is to die for! I opted for some toast with avocado and scrambled tofu and I can't fault it. I wanna come back and try everything on the menu. Also dog friendly and all allergens noted on menu

Tried the chickn ciabatta and breakfast burrito. Both tasty - the ciabatta would benefit from a little more seasoning: perhaps some pesto or thyme.
Great to find healthy vegan options.
In a hurry so didn’t see if they still sell Dappa ice cream - it wasn’t on their menu.
Will visit again to try some other dishes.

Nice mostly vegan lunch spot. - Edit
This is a coffee house/restaurant hybrid. At the front you have the coffee and cake counter and four small tables and then at the back is the kitchen where they make hot meals (breakfasts and lunches) and more seating. All the food is vegan, with just dairy as an option for the drinks. There is table service and you have to wait to be seated. Unfortunately there is nowhere to really stand here without blocking the door. Also most of the tables are 2 seaters so if you come in a larger group you may have to wait a while because they will have to push tables together to seat you.
