Battle Hill Blues

Visited recently as a party of 6 (3 vegans, 3 non vegans), where we ordered the mushroom and ale pie, and a kids meal (vg).

The mushroom and ale pie, which was served with chips, peas and gravy, was surprisingly really enjoyable, but the kids meal was served with pork sausages, despite the order going through as vegan.

Staff were very apologetic and a full refund was given for the kids meal, but also our two mushroom and ale pie dishes, which we appreciated, but this did ruin our family meal together.
