Surprised by vegan options - Edit
I wasn't expecting them to have as many vegan options as they did. I ordered the vegan fish and chips, they were out of the fillets but gave me the fish fingers instead which was fine. It was a pretty basic plate of food with chunky chips and a few peas, but for £8 it's good value. I also had the Crunchy fried corn starter which I absolutely loved! It was topped with really fresh tasting guacamole.
Read moreMy partner had a beyond burger and fries which he enjoyed, it had 2 beyond patties on it, so for £10.79 it is, again, really good value.
The staff were really friendly and polite, the football was on and they came in and asked if we'd like it turning up (or off) as we were the only people in that room.
I noticed they do a full vegan breakfast which is really cheap so will probably go back on a hangover day when I can't be bothered to cook!

Surprising vegan options - Edit
This place definitely doesn't seem like the type of pub that would have vegan options so I was very happy to see they do vegan fish and chips and a dessert! The fish and chips are on a 2 for £10 deal and they have other great deals throughout the week like buy one get one free burgers on Fridays.
