With not much choice in Scunthorpe for vegans plumped for here for breakfast.
Despite having vegan dishes on the menu some plant milk for coffee is a step too far, apparently.
Had the vegan breakfast and some extra portions, as it is quite limited in scope.
Parts didn’t arrive and I had to go chasing off for them. Sausages had either been basted in fish because the chef hated vegans or they were rotting.
Neither scenarios would make anyone want to go back, but I haven’t been violently I’ll yet.
You pay prior. No one asked if the food was ok or why I’d shoved three sausages in my coffee cup.

Pros: Staff were generally pleasant, Other patrons were highly entertaining , My meat eating father didn’t complain about his

Cons: No Plant milk on offer for teas or coffees, Food either rotting or basted in fish

Usual vegan options from HH but cooked fairly well ✔️

It’s always good when you can use your Clubcard vouchers but this was a birthday celebration so we paid full amount. The mushroom and ale pie is lush and was not rock hard like last time I had it.

Not a bad place to go if you’re eating out with the family or non vegan friends 😉

Pros: Spacey , Easy on the wallet , They have vegan mayo available on request

Cons: They serve meat , Meals are fairly small , Can be drafty dependant on where you sit
