Vegan hotdogs in Wellington market - Edit
If you're in Wellington and fancy a hotdog, Hungry Dogs have you covered. The gentleman behind the counter couldn't have been nicer explaining what was and wasn't (but could be made) vegan and they use Moving Mountains sausages for their dogs. He also let me sample their vegan mayo and advised on what the different toppings on offer were like. I had mine with a side of hash browns which were also vegan (but double check if the oil has been used to cook anything meaty beforehand).
