Great food & ambience - Edit
I love vegan junk food, so I had to try the fried pickles & the banana split! Both were so good, love the dip the pickles came with and the banana split had caramelized bananas. Also tried the Steamed Buns, Sausage Pizza, Caesar Salad, & Patty Melt, also really tasty! The portions are huge and meant to share, definitely over-ordered with 3 people. Staff was attentive. Parking structure in the mall.

Great location - Edit
This was a great place to sit for a few hours. Lovely space and location. Food was just ok. Nachos were light on substance. Needs more blackbeans or some other form of vegan protein. Taste ok. Buffalo cauliflower was a bit too sour for us but the dip was great! Staff were all friendly.

One of my favorites! Amazing spot with wonderful service! - Edit
I have been driving 30 minutes at least twice a month for the Steamed Buns and BBQ Chicken Salad. Today I learned they changed the menu again. The Steamed Buns are still good but they are missing the carrots and are not as spicy. But I still like them. The salad is now gone but they might make it a daily special at some point. (I will be checking IG for dates) They have added new items to the menu too. The Chili Cauliflower is delicious. I hope they bring back the BBQ chicken salad, BLT and the patty melt. We do love the crème brûlée ❤️

Yummy meal! - Edit
Stopped by because I had heard of the restaurant and wasn’t far from where i was headed,The restaurant name brought me joy as I’m named “Angela” and was curious to try it.I was running errands and decided to have a quick bite.As soon as I walked in I was greeted with the happiest and most friendly staff at the restaurant,They sat me and my father right away and our friendly waitress welcomed us.Out of all the yummy options I decided to go with the “Gnocchi Pomodoro” accompanied with a “Mango orange smoothie”🍊and my father decided to get a chocolate shake which he said was “absolutely delicious” will definitely be back for more😸

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! - Edit
I had the raw spaghetti and it immediately transported me to my time in Florence. It was something I feel like a vegan Italian chef would make. It was so delicious and fresh and light. My boyfriend has the orange chicken which was made from fried oyster mushrooms and he was very happy with his dish too. I immediately bought one of the chefs cookbooks called raw foods and I cant wait for it to come in!

Very good - Edit
Menu isn’t quite as varied as the description says but still it’s plenty diverse. All of the dishes are large so it’s hard to try and sample a few unless you have a larger group. Indoor has a nice vibe, outdoor is just sitting outside at the mall, which can still be very nice on a warm Long Beach night. Food is very good. We had pesto flatbread, Cali chopped salad and plant bowl and all were tasty. Would definitely go again.

A view of a marina, sitting outside with friends, some of the best Vegan food - No comparison - Edit
We have eaten at several Matthew Kinney restaurants and were over-joyed to dine at one of his newest places in Long Beach, right on the Marina. The food was all cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was amazing, but the best of all was the wait staff. They were attentive, they made sure you had everything, and they explained all of the dishes and were all Vegan. They were more than happy to accommodate any special requests as well. We asked that we have our Hibiscus Limeade without sugar and they made it! It was wonderful. Don't miss this place!

Great food, lovely patio dining - Edit
My friend and I went here today. Hungry Angelina's is in Long Beach near Seaport and PCH across from the yacht harbor. It was a lovely sunny, breezy day, and we ate on the very pleasant patio out in front distanced nicely from other diners. The food we chose was exceptional. The bloody Mary was great! Sorry for the half eaten food, but I forgot to take pictures until I we had already eaten a lot of it. My friend had the hash, which was fantastic!! I had Pesto Primavera Flatbread with veggies, pistachio pesto, and macadamia ricotta. I have to say the ricotta was good, but there was too much of it. The hash was made with sweetpotato, onion, peppers, tempeh bacon, JUST Egg, and a large avocado half. I got a taste of it and loved it. The portions are large, the drinks are tall, and the service on the patio in front was great. All the menu items looks really good. The ingredients we experienced were flavorful and fresh. I will go back here again many times. Next time I'm getting the hash!

Second visit here and just as amazing as the last. My daughter has not eaten a sit down meal since Covid hit and I was able to convince her that Hungry Angelinas would be clean and safe she was reassured when we sat down and there was hand sanitizer and air server was wearing mask and gloves.

Overpriced, especially for quality - Edit
I’ve eaten at the restaurant twice, and was hoping to find a new gem, especially since the founder is pretty renowned in the vegan restaurant industry. I had a truffle burger, that was good, but not good enough to justify the price. The next time I went, I tried the flatbread (which I expected to be like the flatbreads that are similar to pizza) and it was a piece of flatbread ( a little thicker than a tortilla) rolled up on a plate with another plate that had a sauce that you dipped it in (for $18!!!!!). Left there quite hungry and was a little disappointed by the experience. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but will probably not to back, since there are many other vegan restaurants that I enjoy the food far more.

Wonderful Vegan Dinner! - Edit
We started with the nachos which were fabulous, but a bit on the cold side. Still, very tasty for plant based and garnished so artfully. My husband had the mushroom Philly sandwich with a red sauce. It looked and tasted outstanding! The portabella mushrooms were sliced to mock pieces of beef and were in a delectable vegan gravy...sublime! We were both bowled over by the Caesar salad. We skipped the kale and got romaine only. I don't think I've ever had better romaine...the leaves were like butter (so fresh and choice that they almost tasted like Boston lettuce). The Caesar dressing was incredible...creamy without being too oily. I hate vinegar and thankfully this dressing didn't have that going on. It was topped with ground up pumpkin seeds and tasty croutons... amazing!! For dessert I had the matcha cheesecake which did not disappoint. It had coconut whipped cream with a fresh strawberry compote.

The restaurant itself was chic industrial with a lovely view clear to the ocean.
We highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly travel here again (and we live pretty far away).

Delicious! Great service - Edit
We had a wonderful experience here! We brought non vegan friends who also really enjoyed it! The waitress was really knowledgeable about what could be made gluten free. They ran out of a few of the brunch items because we were there for a late lunch. My hubby was looking forward to the breakfast burrito, but they ran out. The waitress was going to see if they could just bring out a tortilla on the side for him, but the chefs worked their magic and turned the breakfast frittata into a burrito for him. It was delicious and he thinks it should be a permanent menu item! I loved the truffle burger. Menu items are set to change seasonally, so we are excited to try whatever they come up with next! We’ll be back. Shoutout to our awesome waitress! I wish I could remember her name! 😂
