Five star tofu stall! - Edit
I wanted to give this stall five stars, but HappyCow won‘t let me - I wonder why since the stall is completely vegan and there are other five star reviews.
Read moreThe stall sells tofu skewers and you are asked if you want it spicy or not. The skewers are simple, but so tasty and satisfying. We loved both versions.
We came here every evening during our stay in Ita Thao and ate the skewers on the benches at the jetty - so lovely!
The staff were always friendly.
The skewers are a bit hard to eat when just taking bites, so we used our own cutlery to eat them.

Super delicious tofu skewers. You can choose between spicy and non-spicy, and you can either eat the skewers straight away on a paper plate or take them away in a small plastic container. The taste was really great, and I would definitely come back here again.

Good option in a place without much vegan choice - Edit
We were looking for a tofu sandwich store which is listed on happy cow, but couldn't see it anywhere. There were quite a lot of stalls closed on the day we visited so maybe it's normally open.
Read moreWe found this tofu stall on the main market street with a big green V on the sign. Perfect! The stall offered tofu on a stick with cabbage (maybe kimchi) on top. The tofu was nice, but not especially tasty, though I opted for the non-spicy choice so maybe that one is on me. We were still very glad to find this stall open and offering vegan options and it supplemented our spring onion pancakes from a nearby stall beautifully.
Looking at Google street view, this place seems to have been around since 2017 so it's quite well established.
