crazy good tofu - Edit
this place deserves 5 stars but happy cow don’t like that so, 4 it is~~
Read morehave been in a few times and their tofu dishes are ridiculously good. the mock meat section had some great options but as I’ve never had meat, I can’t say how accurate they were - it was just chewy goodness. the kungpao tofu has become my obsession. only wish they had more dishes that combined tofu/faux meat with veggies, as most are one or the other. really sweet staff, the interior is very simple. ample parking as it’s just down from a grocery store. i avoid oil typically but this place is a welcomed exception on my off days~
Pros: incredible tofu texture and flavors, one dish covers multiple meals or eaters
Cons: have meat so HC says no 5*, limited delivery unless you use doordash, could be spicier but hey it’s Virginia

Not flavorful - Edit
Was hoping for some general Tso‘s tofu but they were completely out of tofu. Opted for the vegan chicken instead and requested it extra spicy. There was no spice to it whatsoever. The vegetable lo mein had no flavor. I’m glad they have vegan options, but I will not seek them out to the future.

Should’ve asked. - Edit
I got take out and ordered through the BeyondMenu App. Had the option to get fried rice instead of white. Got home to find that there is egg in it. The faux meat was good though. Almost too good.

Very good mock meats. Much cleaner than China Panda. It has a relatively small but thorough mock menu with mock beef, chicken, shrimp. The mock beef and snow peas are great. The atmosphere is simple but nice with a bubbling fish tank and some nice Chinese paintings.
