perfect hummus option at Carmel Market - Edit
it used to a synagogue, so you can still Judaica item all around the place

Basic hummus place with tasty hummus and good prices.
The most popular thing that (almost) everybody orders is bowl of hummus with pita bread for 15 ILS.
Pros: Tasty and inexpensive, Non-standard atmosphere
Cons: Need to ask to ommit the boiled egg, A bit challenging to find, Limited options
