Amazing

Fantastic falafel wrap (they have loads more stuff, but I can never get past the wrap). Also delicious vegan cakes. My favourite place in Edinburgh.

Wonderful food

I saw this place soon after moving to Edinburgh but, unfortunately, it's not open in the evenings. Two years later and I've now finally found myself in that part of town at the right time to grab some lunch there and I am incredibly impressed with it! So far I have tried the cauliflower wrap and the aubergine wrap. All freshly prepared and just packed with a whole variety of different flavours. They have such a range of different options I really need to go back more and try everything!

Pros: Incredible taste, Range of different options, Great staff

Cons: Not open in the evenings

Simply great and fresh food

Met the owner (Reece) and was delighted with the food and conversation! Definitely recommend coming here as the food tastes great and is reasonably priced!

Our local — some of the best vegan food in Edinburgh

A little far out and a small city area but all the food here is delicious: the falafel wrap, mezze and Lebanese bean breakfast in particular. Very friendly staff and a family owned restaurant.

Delicious, freshly-made felafels

Absolutely delicious! Had the felafel wrap (the felafels are freshly made to order, which makes all the difference) with baba ghanoush and cauliflower. They’ve also got a great selection of soft drinks, and some tempting looking vegan cakes (but I was too full after my wrap to try them!). Highly recommend! The staff were lovely too. It is a tiny, with just a few seats for sitting in, and very (justifiably) popular.

DEEEEEEEEEElicious

Friend and I went here today for lunch. I let the guy choose what to give me. Falafel wrap half hummus, half baba ganoush. Was scrumdiddlyumptious. My friend had the Lebanese lentil soup and that was stunning too. Brilliant little place and busy!

Best falafel in Edinburgh, maybe even europe

I am a huge falafel fan and have eaten it in every city I have been to in every place I go, very few come even close to hummus

I went two days in a row!

I popped in and tried their apple cake (so SO good) and the next day went with my omni friends. They had coffee and cake, which they enjoyed and I had an oat coffee and the soup.

So good!
I'll hopefully return!

Pros: Beautiful cakes , A range of drinks, Sweet and savoury, has hot savoury dishes

Cons: Very small venue, No toilets unfortunately (use the library :))

DELICIOUS

The food was incredible. The staff are lovely. The prices are affordable. I got the falafel wrap with hummus and mezze - the falafel’s are made fresh. My mouth is watering thinking of it. The lentils were tasty, the batatas were pretty good (I’d go for moussaka next time instead) and the ghanoush was incredible.
However, the highlight by far was the baklava. The sweetness mixed with the butter melting in your mouth was incredible. This was probably the best dessert I’ve had in my life. I also tried the maamoul. There were 2 types, date and pistachio - I preferred the pistachio. They were tasty but no match compared to the baklava.
The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, it has a cosy vibe to it and Reese is a sound, humble human being. It was a pleasure to meet him and eat his DELICIOUS food. Thank you

Go-To Lunch Spot

I adore this place, never had a bad experience. I usually get a mixed meze box for lunch, but they do wraps as well. Everything is delicious, but the baba ganoush, moussaka and lentil bake are especially fantastic and the falafel are great too. There's also a really nice selection of drinks as well.

Pros: All veggie/vegan options, Delicious, freshly prepared food, Staff are really friendly and helpful

Amazing food and Friendly Service

Found this place by accident and so glad we did! Excellent range of super yummy food, we had the bean breakfast and the mezze box and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful so bought extra to have later on too. Really friendly service and great to see a place that does vegan baklava!

Best place in Morningside

Small family-owned Lebanese café in the heart of the Morningside road. Selection of salads, vine leaves, spinach pasties, green beans, fattoush, (the best in town) baba ganoush and falafel wraps, hummus and others. You can also have baklawa, apple cake or crunch bar. Selections of kombuchas, ginger beers, cafés, teas and hot chocolate. All mentioned are fully vegan.
