Loved the concept - Edit
Fusion Guatemalan cuisine, set in a historical building , offers many vegan options and the craft brewery attached to it only makes it better. Cant remember the dish we ordered but it was delicious. The tacos looked good too. The waitress is forgetful we had repeatedly ask for our orders, sauces, or water etc

Amazing Restaurant! - Edit
Ordered: Suban Ik Fusion con Hongos y Tofu, Jamaica, Fruit Punch
Read moreWonderful atmosphere in a garden, amazing staff that were friendly, very helpful and accommodating. The menu is large and most items can be made vegan by using mushrooms and tofu so it was hard to choose but the staff helped guide my selection. The food came cooked and wrapped in banana leaves, the mushrooms and tofu were cooked in a very flavorful sauce. Ordered the Jamaica because it naturally relaxes you and we had a long car ride ahead of us. The Jamaica was refreshing and so was the fruit punch. I would recommend to everyone and if I am back in Panajachel I will come again.
Pros: Wonderful Staff, Beautiful Garden, Amazing Options

It was great but now not so much - Edit
We’d been here a couple times and really liked it. They had several vegan options on the menu. However they’ve changed their menu since then.
Read moreToday was so bad we walked out.
We asked for vegan versions of a couple dishes: mushroom burger, burrito, and soup. Asked for tea, which they were out of, so we ordered water.
Five minutes later the server comes back to tell us there’s no soup. Okay, we’ll just wait for the entrees.
Five minutes and we don’t have our water yet. We go up and ask for it. She comes back and tells us the bread for the burger and wraps aren’t vegan. At this point we’ve been there 20 minutes, we’d just gotten water, and there’s only one item available that could actually be vegan.
Oh, and there were no other customers there, so the delays weren’t because they were busy.
We just left and went to the Indian place down the street.
I really want to like this place. The idea is great. The execution was acceptable before, but today was not.
Pros: Lovely garden
Cons: Few vegan options, Service not up to par

Excellent - Edit
The hostess/waitress said they could make anything on the menu vegan. She spoke perfect English. I had the mushroom chimichanga and a cacao margarita. Everything was delicious.

Good food, kind and friendly chef - Edit
Had the crispy tacos with cale, pico de gallo, beans and mushrooms, was fresh and good! Refill for the drink of the day! Bit pricy for a main dish with protein f. e. Tofu ~ 80 Quetzales. Nice ambiente and everything is VERY clean!
