(Relatively) expensive but excellent dinner - Edit
We went here on the final night of our Vietnam trip as a celebration dinner - whilst a fair bit pricier than other meals on our trip, the food, cocktails, and service are fantastic. We also recognise that the same meal in London (our home) would have been far more expensive so can’t complain too much at the prices!

Acceptable - Edit
Their new extension to D3 has restaurants on the upper floors as part of their ‘system’ that sell meat. When you arrive you are asked if you want meat or vegetarian. Despite email, DM and tagging them they will not respond as to if it is different kitchens. If you do not eat at places with mixed kitchens I suggest you avoid this place unless you are able to get an answer from them
Read moreI’ve been twice a couple of years apart and both times I was underwhelmed. One waiter had trouble understanding what vegan is even with a Vietnamese person explaining. Overpriced and overrated in my opinion.

Beautiful presentation, little taste - Edit
The restaurant is priced and positioned to be at the fancy end of the scale. A lot of effort is but in to presentation including the use of dry ice for effect. Unfortunately the food I had was bland and very expensive in Vietnam terms.

Calm and joyful eating - Edit
I had a question mark in mind after reading some of the reviews here but my hotel recommended Hum. Turns out they were right! The staff could not have been more welcoming and they helped me make a good choice from the extensive menu. Many vegetarian dishes are available in vegan form. The atmosphere is tranquil and pleasingly designed, there is clearly a big commitment to sustainability. The food was delicious, yum - that crispy noodle dish. Dessert was spectacular, not only in presentation, but also, taste. And l had a lovely hibiscus-based cocktail.

Small plates and big price - Edit
After trying a lot of vegan food around the city, I found this place that is really beautiful but not only the plates where really small, I found them without flavor. I don’t know if it was just the vegan, cause I saw other tables with bigger portions, but everything that we order was small and on top of that, the flavor was really really meh. Street food was tastier . Also it was expensive.

The ambience is incredible and the food is so delicious. Unfortunately the portions are very small so they are not really worth the high price. Also, two out of three meals we had were cold.

There were a lot of vegan options and they were all really good. I also loved their desserts and drinks. This is probably my favorite branch of Hum because of the unbeatable decor. Nice place for a brunch date. #Veganuary

Wow - do not miss - Edit
We were blown away by the high quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the relaxed vibe of this place. The menu had a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all of which were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff were all extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience (including telling us how to eat the meals properly). The only downside was that the prices were a bit on the expensive side, but considering the excellent food and service, it was definitely worth it. Don't miss if you're vegan in Saigon.

Stunning place with incredible food - Edit
Not only is this restaurant super gorgeous with a huge semi-outside seating area and separate café/bar, but the food was amazing, too. Expensive compared to other local restaurants, but every dish was perfectly seasoned with kinda rare ingredients, even as a Viet I was amazed to find ingredients such as aloe vera, ginseng roots, dried and spicy pineapple that had the texture of beef jerky and aburaage. It's quite zero-waste as well, they use fabric napkins, banana and lotus leaves and paper straws, which is quite unique for Vietnam.

I’m not greatly impressed with this place but it’s worth visiting. Beautiful interior. Quite a big menu. However I think it’s over pricy. Portions are quite small. And in the end they add extra charge fee to your bill.

You feel the calmness of the atmosphere the moment you step inside. In a city as busy as Ho Chi Minh, it’s as if you’ve found an oasis in the middle of the desert.
