Great vegan options. - Edit
I love Hugo’s, both this and the Atwater Village location. You can choose mushroom “carnitas” , potato soyrizo, and crispy tofu options that you can get in tacos or burritos with your choice of beans (black, pinto, or white) then about 6 or 7 salsas to choose from. They also have a vegan torta. I mainly get burritos or tacos. But I see they also have vegan tamales and taquitos too, and a chik’n sandwich. I find myself coming here more and more in the past year. They have taco tuesday deals too. I like this spot because it works for me my bf who eats meat. We both leave satisfied.

Food comes out fast, and the restaurant has a few different vegan options such as potato, mushroom, tofu, and chorizo.

However, the flavor in burritos we ordered was lacking. The location by the freeway is convenient and prices are reasonable. That being said, next time I’d drive a little further to go somewhere better.

Enchiladas, tamales you name it. Choose your sauce on what ever. I was told I hae the mild sauce(gringo) though it was spicy.
Read moreIn the past main reason to go here was for the frozato (soft serve non dairy ice cream) though Hugo's removed from the menu-NO soft serve. . It is still 1st picture on this app and needs to be removed.

We came only for the frozato (after eating lunch at Hugo’s restaurant) and boy was it worth it! The frozato was just creamy enough to taste like frozen yogurt or soft serve, but wasn’t to thick and creamy. Perfect treat for a hot day

We came here strictly for dessert after eating lunch elsewhere. Their Frozato, which is a vegan soft serve (ice cream), comes in vanilla, chocolate, or swirl, in a cup or cone. I got swirl. It was cold and creamy; perfect for a hot summer day.

They have lots of vegan food options. Their menu displays via designated symbols which items are naturally vegan and which have a vegan option available. I do want to go back and try their tortas next time.
The parking lot is really small, with only a handful of spaces. There are a couple of outside tables if you want to eat there, but it's basically a carry-out only establishment. The full-service Hugo's Restaurant is literally across the street.

It's dangerously close to where i live and I frequent this little gem often. For a quick delicious meal this is my go-to! Plus they have vegan soft serve! Their honey chipotle salsa is killer!!!
