Absolute delight - Edit
We often drive past when passing through not realising it was vegan until recently. We stopped for some lunch and was pleasantly surprised when we discovered the whole menu is vegan! A great variety of choice and a perfect stop to break up our journey. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was tasty and we got take out cakes which were sublime! Will visit again!

Amazing vegan roasts and desserts - Edit
Husband and I had two amazing vegan roasts with all the trimmings, and somehow had room for desserts (which were also delicious!) Really generous portions, cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Also very dog friendly! A really lovely spot and just wish we didn't live so far away or we'd be back all the time!

Brilliant cafe with a wide menu - completely spoilt for choice with a full range of burgers in addition to lots of other mains and nibbles. Desert menu also looked amazing, but too full to try. We did get cake to takeaway, and that was scrummy too.

Wow. Huggers blew our socks off !! - Edit
We have been meaning to try huggers for ages. As we went today which is a Sunday we were particualrly taken by a review which said ‘best vegan roast ever. Well, it really is !!
Read moreI had the sausage plait and my wife had the nut roast. It was the very best of home cooking and utterly faultless.
The desserts were equally delicious (I had the apple pie while my wife had a chocolate sundae.
The staff were friendly and knowledgable.
Huggers are going to be seeing quite a bit more of us moving forward and I am excited to have unearthed a real vegan gem of a place. Hurray !!

What a gem. - Edit
Parked in the coop car park just across the road, love the coop so always happy to pop in and buy something. The cafe was hidden by the scaffolding but we located it directly opposite the pelican crossing.
Read moreLoved the space and the friendly and accommodating service. We knew we were probably too late for hot food and had decided on dessert and a drink but they were happy to make us something if we’d wanted it. Kept it simple though with a jam scone and a deep apple pie with custard. A double hot chocolate and a chocolate milkshake. It was all lovely and we’d have loved to be able to sample the famous Sunday roast but we’ll be travelling back home tomorrow. Another time!
p.s. the toilet is lovely with great smelling soap.

Wonderful! - Edit
Me and my husband visited to try Huggers famous Sunday roast. A lovely cafe and the people who worked here were so friendly. An extensive menu, the roasts alone had four options, and can order extra yorkie puds! The roast was delicious, the only thing I wished for was more veg. Would have been great to have extra veg as an option. The puddings were delicious and there were plenty of options to satisfy all different tastes. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back!

Best roast in East Anglia! - Edit
Had my first visit here yesterday & kicking myself I’ve not been sooner! The roast was absolutely incredible & there’s a choice of 4 too. The cheesecake was also to die for. I’m confident this is now my new favourite ever vegan restaurant- certainly in Norfolk anyway & possibly the whole East Anglia region. Can’t wait to go back there!!

Best roast I've ever had!! - Edit
We came for Mother's Day lunch and all got roasts - truly the best roast of my life, meat or other. I had the Tart Tatin option which was delicious and came with the usual trimmings of a roast. The white cabbage and cauliflower cheese were a highlight.

Really welcoming and friendly staff. Had a delicious chai latte and loved how it was served in a tea pot. We visited early as it was on our route on a bike ride and took some food away for lunch. Delicious bagel and sausage rolls. Would recommend and visit again if we're in the area.

Fabulous Vegan Cafe - Edit
We came here for lunch and we will certainly return. There's a great choice of light bites including a range of sausage rolls, of which I had a traditional sage, onion and apple, which was delicious. My son had hummus and pitta, which he really enjoyed. We wanted to save space for the wonderful desserts, so many amazing things to choose from. We really enjoyed the ice cream sundae and the apple tart. I really couldn't fault the place, and we can't wait to come back and try some others thungs from their menu.

First visit today (Friday pm) and not disappointed.
Read moreVery extensive menu from light bites to Sunday lunches with pretty much most things in between. We both had burgers (which we don’t usually go for) and they were both spot on. Accompanied with onion rings, fries and coleslaw, they were very satisfying meals.

Pros: Great choice, Tasty food, Excellent service

Returned for a birthday meal with my wife’s family (all non-vegan except my lovely wife, of course) and my daughter. Had the sage & onion sausage plait with veg, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud and gravy. Excellent and couldn’t be better. Everybody said they enjoyed their meals too. Still didn’t manage a pudding, so will need to return to actually have some, haha!

VEGAN YORKSHIRES! - Edit
Vegan Yorkshire Puddings! Need I say more? This is the first place my partner and I have found where our dreams of a vegan yorky with a nut roast have become a reality. We even heard a lady who must have been in her 80s say to the waitress as she was Dairy Free since birth this is the first YORKSHIRE she has ever had! The whole menu is fantastic - so much variety. Dog friendly and the staff are lovely. This is on a main road but you can park in the Co-Op opposite for 2 hours so no issues there.

Simply good British food - Edit
On my way to Norwich, I made a stop at Huggers for coffee and cake. Although everything at Huggers is plant-based, this is not blatantly shown, because - when asking - the owner told me: "Good food is simply good food", and I believe that captures the place very well!
Read moreThere is a large selection of pastries and cakes on offer, with typical British 'flavours' like Biscoff and Jaffa (which I haven't seen before).
The staff is friendly, I was quickly served and the prices are very reasonable.
Pros: Cakes with authentic British flavours , Spacious, pleasant atmosphere, Friendly staff and quick service
