This place is perfection! The ice cream is delicious and they have great toppings for sundaes, milkshakes and cones. Also brownies and cookies to top with ice cream. I come here whenever I want an amazing sweet treat.

Yummy ice cream - Edit
Even if you're not Vegan you will love this place. The ice cream is delicious. I had chocolate and cookie dough and thought it was very good. You can get your order in a cup or cone. You can even get a sundae or a shake. They have lots of toppings to choose from. I will definitely return.

They have a lot of different flavors with some seasonal options. My non-vegan brother always asks me to get him the choco mint whenever I'm in the area.

Best Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
Hug-life has had a loyal customer in me since my first visit. It started as a small anti-dairy ice cream shop in garden grove and has now expanded to this location and in Long Beach. Nothing on the menu is a miss. I’ve loved every single flavor and item I’ve ever tried. I’ve been hooked on their shakes lately. My favorites are the brown sugar boba shake, and the Carmel frapp. shake. They’ve recently made a colab flavor with high hopes called purple reign. It’s SO delicious and a portion of sales go to an amazing cause. Even my non vegan friends are obsessed with this place, maybe even more than me.

The best vegan ice cream!! - Edit
I went over the weekend with my bf and my niece, and was not disappointed! My bf and I got the banana boyy cookie sammich! It was heavenly! It is big, so you might want to share, but I was able to eat it all! My niece had the matcha ice cream and loved it!

I'm living the Hug Life - Edit
I have been a huge fan of Hug Life since they opened their first location in GG. i have been to this location a few times and it offers the same great service and product as other locations, but this location is much larger and offers more selection of deserts. I could be wrong, I will have to do more research on this, 😄
Read morethe service is always great regardless of the location you go to, quality is amazing and I love the selection of flavors. I think my favorites have to be Earl Great, Thai Tea , and Viet Coffee. Hmmm apparently I like ice-cream that also gives you a caffeine buzz, because trust me I will generally do 1/2 scoop of coffee and 1/2 scoop of vanilla if I plan on sleeping. Yes the staff is happy to accommodate 1/2 scoops.
Enjoy life and the Hug life
Pros: All vegan

Best vegan ice cream in town - Edit
I was so stoked that ALL of their options are vegan! It was my first time trying their ice cream so I asked the server if he had any recommendations. He recommended the rocky road and a few others. I tried rocky road and earl grey. I LOVED the rocky road ice cream! Definitely give it a try!

Great vegan ice cream! - Edit
Just about everything here is good! I love all the ice cream flavors and the combos (the Brownie a La Mode is my weakness). I haven’t tried any drinks besides the root beer float, but I’m sure they are all good as well. Everyone, vegan or non-vegan, will like this place.

Amazing Ice Cream - Edit
I love this place so much, and it’s for sure going to become my go-to dairy free ice cream spot. I got a scoop of cookie butter ice cream and added marshmallows on top. I highly recommend the cookie butter! It tastes like a churro and gingerbread cookie had a baby, and it’s fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, and the customer service was awesome too. Love this place!

Yummy treat! - Edit
Lots of choice here at this “anti-dairy” ice cream shop. Plenty of flavors, toppings, and sauces from which to choose along with bake goods. I had the mango & berry ice creams and a snickerdoodle. All delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful allowing me to try as many favors as I wanted.

Fell in love with the Garden Grove location originally! Always great service there and the same at this new location with more room to sit and enjoy your treats. Love the little vegan snack shop inside too. It's where I got to get my vegan jerky! Make sure to sign up for the rewards program to earn free scoops!
