If I could give no stars I would

Came here for lunch. Got as far as the door, greeted by the rudest waitress ever. Went somewhere else.

Very friendly staff

Not that many vegan options but when we asked they explained what could be made vegan. The vegan options seemed to be a salad, a sausage bap, scones, avocados on toast, jacket potato & beans. They had oat milk & coconut milk. Was nice to see vegan scones as it’s not that easy to get those! They didn’t have any vegan cream but they did have vegan margarine & jam. I had the sausage bap which, as others have said, were the old school vegetable sausages (not what I was expecting, but fine!) with ketchup. Also had the scone which was lovely. We had a really sweet waitress who found us a table even though it was busy and kept calling us ‘my lovely ladies’ which was cute. The people who took our payment were also very nice (and amused, when my friend and I were fighting over who would pay the bill!)

Pros: Vegan scones, Service

Really nice buns, darling.

Not many vegan options but the vegan cream tea, belgian bun and lardy cake were lovely. Very polite, friendly staff.

horrid - do not go - poor service - unfriendly

The welcome was cold and unfriendly , the building is stunning but the restaurant looks cheap and almost unclean.
the food look industrial and not at all homemade - and our hot chocoltes were not good at all (was there even chocolate in there???)
And they had run out of marshmallow !!!- though they are obviously not freshly made but industrially made.
Nothing looked good - all in plastic bags indistrially sealed..horrid.

Pros: the outside of the building is beautiful

Cons: dislike the service, disliked the hot chocolates and food, disliked the space ,decoration, shabbiness

Plant based huffkin is not vegan

Plant based huffkin is not vegan so instead old school sweetcorn and pea veggie sausages are served in very dry brown bread.

OK

There was only one vegan option (apart from a pot of jam!) that was a vegan sausage sandwich. It was advertised to come with chutney but it didn’t, so it was dry and dull. My husband ordered the cheese toastie with chutney and he got some… The vegan sausages were more like the old 90s veggie sausages, with carrot and sweet corn in. I quite like them but not what I expected. We also ordered two bottles of still water, and only one came. Staff seemed nice.

Avoid

Was informed by the very nice and honest member of waiting staff that the vegan options that are fried are not really vegan as they are fried in the same oil as meat. I wiuldnt trust this place to make vegan food. Avoid.

Cons: Food labelled vegan that likely isnt, Food labelled vegetarian that likely isn’t

Great service but limited vegan options

This is a lovely bakery & tea rooms. They have a well labelled menu for vegans and vegetarians however there are very limited vegan options. I had to order off the breakfast menu as there weren’t any vegan options on the lunch menu. I made the full English Breakfast vegan by removing the bacon, sausages & eggs, and adding avocado & vegan sausages (looked and tasted like Linda McCartney’s).

Afterwards we ordered the two vegan buns from the bakery to takeaway.

Despite the limited options, the service was exceptional, the food arrived quickly and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We would definitely come here again.

Pros: Excellent service, Helpful staff, Lovely atmosphere

Cons: Not many vegan options

Very disappointing

Very few vegan options available, and the sausage bap which according to the menu can be made vegan, actually can't as the sausages contain dairy!

Over-priced, and the coffee is crap too

Pros: Very few vegan options

Cons: Over-priced, Wrongly-listed menu

Lovely tea room offering clearly listed vegan and vegetarian options

After visiting the area for a friend's wedding, we wanted something for breakfast, vegan and vegetarian options in the area were limited.

The staff here were friendly and very helpful. They adapted the vegetarian breakfast for me by removing the egg and ensuring no dairy was used for trying the vegetables.

It would've been nice to be offered something extra as the eggs had been removed but I was delighted to have the option.

I didn't get to sample the vegan cakes this time but would like to return to do so.

The setting is beautiful with views of the square of Show on the Wold.

Highly recommended.

Pros: Friendly staff, Happy to veganise the vegetarian English breakfast, Beautiful setting

Cons: More vegan options welcome
