Really delicious, a bit disorganized - Edit
The food here is always delicious, but the service is disorganized and it takes a while to get your food. They recently changed their menu and got rid of some of my favorites, but they still have really good options and tons of them.

Not As Expected. - Edit
I was visiting the area, needed to eat. A google search showed the Hue Cafe as a close by placed where I could go and get something to eat as a vegetarian. The menu seemed decent. I order a number of items off the menu. Excited, I open up the food to find that everything I ordered appeared to have been deep fried, not good as far as healthy eating is concern.

Cons: Long wait for counter orders., Everything on the menu is fried.

Wonderfully diverse menu and great service! I got the greens and sweet potato salad. Next time I’ll ask for dressing on the side because they put a lot on it. Other than that it was great! I can’t wait to go back and try the nachos or a sandwich… so many choices!

Very good - Edit
We only sampled the sandwiches, which were very good. Will try other items next time. Got the shrimp Poboy, the tunah melt, and the cheesesteak. The food is pricey, but Hue is fully vegan, so I’ll splurge every once in awhile but can’t eat here as often as I’d like.

Awesome made to order sandwiches - Edit
We always get the chikun fungi sammie and then try another sammie, salad to side/dessert- everything as been great so far. I suggest if you want roll toasted or no Ltm- let them know and they will accommodate. Otherwise everything is loaded on the roll. Get a fork and knife just in case. We have also been offered free samples of other menu items which gave us even more reasons to return. Prices are what we expected.

Disappointed. - Edit
We traveled from PA to try a new to us vegan restaurant. Breakfast was served in boxes. Impossible to eat breakfast tacos dripping everywhere. My husband’s breakfast burrito was cold in the center, which was weird. I had high hopes. Maybe lunch or dinner is better. Just odd.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I go here pretty often and this is a great vegan spot to eat. I say give them another try. I do agree with it being difficult to eat out of the boxes but other than that, this is my go-to spot and I don’t even live close but I don’t mind the drive

We live over an hour away. I’m sure lunches or dinners are great. I was very underwhelmed and eating sobbing tacos from a box wasn’t fun. I’ll pass on going here again.

Lots of choices! - Edit
First timer here. Ordered the sweet potato and super green salad. Was delicious with crunchy garbanzos, although heavy on the dressing so next time I’ll order that on the side. My lunch mates ordered the house salad (hue-mongous) and avocado toast which was topped with mushrooms and sun dried tomato. All good! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Quiet Vegan Spot - Edit
1st time here. Plenty of free parking in lot. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff. I started with hue wings. Nice serving size. I was a little disappointed they were not crispy as described … but they were still good. Next I had the street taco box with vegan Chesapeake shrimp. Good serving size. Two tacos. Tasty. One request would be to allow someone to order two different tacos instead of having to get two of the same tacos. My last entree was the steak sub. I was not happy with the visual aspect. I was expecting the trimmings on top. Only thing on top was the peppers. It was a nice portion size. I was also hoping for a toasted hoagie. It was better than I thought it was going to be. Looking forward to coming back. I will try different plates next time

Back in town and was craving this place. Tried their Hie Wings again but this time I had them with brown sugar Buffalo. Packed a nice kick and really enjoyed them. I ordered the Hue Power bowl and it was fabulous. Great flavor and nice portion size. I ate half and left half for my wife and she also loved it. Black garlic Mac was good had a nice strong garlic flavor. The guac and chips were ok. Nothing special about the guac and a big portion size of tortilla chips. Shrimp Po boy was interesting. Not sure I would get it again but that’s completely a personal preference. It was made well and a good portion size. Looking forward to coming back … and menu is large enough where I would still be able to try new things again. This could have been an off day but there were some service issues. A customer was upset about her order. Another customer was missing a take out item. I double checked my order and I was also missing my sandwich. Check your order before you leave.

Interesting food but very expensive - Edit
A small menu and mixed results for my liking. Some food is dry and lacking in taste. Other dishes are good. You should expect to spend more than $20 for lunch.
