Terrible since change of ownership a few months ago. Maybe one savory vegan option in the cabinet. I'd eat here for SOS.

Fabulous Breakfast - Edit
Had a really yummy Vegan big breakfast of tofu scramble, tomatoes, mushrooms, watercress and sourdough toast. Nice atmosphere and was a good place to enjoy a quiet breakfast and conversation with friends. Attentive friendly service. Will definitely be a repeat customer 😊

Located inside a health food shop. Several vegan options but mainly a meat based cafe. Vegan food is uninspired choices of premade food from the cabinet rather than off a menu. Mainly cakes and sandwiches

Should not advertise being vegetarian/ vegan friendly. Was given a meat salami sandwich instead of vegan one by "mistake". Disappointed at lack of care when serving food. Dangerous for anyone with food restrictions or allergies.

Multiple vegan baked and raw goodies that are always lovely. Great because the shop is attached so you can grab stuff at the same time.

Ethos cafe and bakery in East West Organics store - Edit
I had lunch here with a vegan and a vegetarian. Ethos Cafe includes a salad bar, hot dishes and a delectable range of cakes and slices. Everything is vegetarian and organic and nearly everything is vegan. The menu is varied and large. There is plenty of seating. The cafe is located in a large building that also includes an organic bakery and large organic supermarket, probably the largest organic vegetarian venue in New Zealand.

Great food and athmosphere - Edit
Had the cabinet salads and some sweet treats with an omnivore fried for lunch, we both loved all the food. Really light and spacious premises with lots of seating and interesting art on the walls. Nice to see some food plants growing outside too. The vegan cakes were really good and the salads were great value.

I only had a coffee and a sweet treat there and it was delicious. Also the shop was nice and had some good offers, so great to combine some shopping with some good food.

We have been here twice. The first time they bungled almost every aspect of our order. Although the staff are friendly. There is a small play area for kids. There are some vegan options (had to ask) and the food is good, but not excellent.
